Second Circuit Upholds Limit on SALT Deduction

Post by Cpt Banjo »

The Second Circuit yesterday affirmed a District Court judgment upholding the 2017 limit on the SALT deduction against various constitutional arguments made by New York, Connecticut, Maryland, and New Jersey. https://www.bloomberglaw.com/public/des ... 1633537663

IMHO, the arguments made by the plaintiffs are pretty flimsy, especially the claim that an unlimited SALT deduction is constitutionally required.
