Another twitter mention from Demo.The defendant in the fatal shooting of a manager at the Wendy's restaurant near Edinboro has chosen to represent himself days before he goes on trial in Erie County Court on charges of first- and second-degree murder.
He is already faring poorly in the courtroom.
The defendant, Markese D. Lampley, 21, failed on Monday to persuade Judge John J. Trucilla and other court officials to call him all the time by what he claims is his true name: Mileage Galor Bey.
Lampley also failed to win his antigovernment argument that he should not even be on trial in Erie County or possibly anywhere else.
