It appears (Indiana online dockets are quite cryptic - look for yourselves) that Moore's lawyer moved to withdraw, the motion was granted, and he now has a new lawyer. I assume that she is court-appointed. If she is, I feel bad for her - but it is the role of the court-appointed lawyer to represent any obnoxious dingbat who needs representation. In cases like Moore's, I used to view it as representing the Sixth Amendment rather than the obnoxious dingbat. That didn't always work.

Anyway, there is a new conference now scheduled for May 31. The only further info is "Attorney Conference" - maybe the judge just wants a status report from new counsel.

Next court date: October 4. If anything else is going on, the docket doesn't show it.

Looks like the October 4 date was for a pretrial conference that has been rescheduled for November 29.

If I'm understanding the listing on the Indiana court search page Moore has had two different attorneys file to withdraw just this year, both motions were approved and new attorneys entered. So I guess he's just burning out public defenders?

I also noticed that there is a judgement entered out of a small claims case brought by United Mechanical Inc. in 2000 that is still open and unpaid. There were several other small claims actions that were still open also.

I went to take a look at what had happened with Freeman since the last time I looked he had his pre-trial conference rescheduled. The online search isn't real helpful. I've got a couple entries here:
11/29/2023
Pretrial Conference
Session:
10/04/2023 8:30 AM, Rescheduled
Session:
11/29/2023 8:30 AM, Judicial Officer: Rogers, Clark
Result:
Commenced and concluded
and then:
11/29/2023
Hearing Scheduling Activity
Pretrial Conference scheduled for 01/17/2024 at 8:30 AM.
with a scheduling noted as:
01/17/2024
Pretrial Conference
Session:
01/17/2024 8:30 AM, Judicial Officer: Rogers, Clark
So has he had the pre-trial conference or not? One entry says it was concluded, the other says it has been rescheduled. Look for yourself.
