Knowing Ken Thompson's history, he'll spend weeks interviewing potential jury members, all of whom will be female. Then he'll lose interest.

I am pretty sure it does not work like that, but if it did I cannot see him attracting much potential support unless he can find 100 Neelus.

I can understand your skepticism. However, here at the Bank of Swissindo we have undertaken an aggressive quantitative easing programme to ensure that one Swissindo is always equal to whatever amount you happen to owe to your creditors at any particular moment.

Nobody deals in Quatloos, they are the private remunerative tokens of the Soros Masonic Zionist Organisation. We can only redeem them against items in the Incentive Catalog - Swiss gold, virgin Christian children, black helicopters etc. I'm saving mine for one big retirement reward, Imma be da next Pope!

I was going to be the Twelfth Majesticator. But when Shonda Rhimes bumped off David Bowie and took the position herself, i realized i was out of my league. I'm thinking of just signing up for MK Ultra.

I've got my eye on a sweet little attack helicopter with the four blade rotor system, co axial cannons, TOW Missiles, air to ground missiles, drop fuel tanks, added underbody armor and the optional Dachshund Gunner's Position/car seat.

I'm looking at an AH-64 Apache, myself. The 30 mm cannon and Hellfire missiles come standard, but the Longbow radar is an optional upgrade.

Too much fancy plumbing for me. If your attack helicopter has netflix, facebook and hi speed wifi, is it really an attack helicopter or just another SUV? :haha:

I'l get me coat....

Joking aside, you do know that I have just over 1600 hours in an AH1F Cobra.

That is certainly something to come nose to nose with first thing in the morning, or evening. Does it come with leather upholstery? Where are you going to park it?

Somebody had to wipe up the spillages and empty the ashtrays when they came back from missions, but hey, it was important work! Wiping the coffee off the dials could be mission critical.

Yes, it is. It stands for Tube launched, Optically Sighted, Wire Guided Anti Tank Missile. It was specifically anti-armor and costs about $200,000 to pull the trigger. It is distinct from the traditional anti-ground Hydra 70 unguided ground attack rockets which are better at killing people than tanks (two very different tasks), are considerably cheaper to pop off and much less involved to fire when people are shooting back at you.
A TOW Missile requires you to sit still for the firing, because the gunner is 'flying it'' until impact, Hydras you just squeeze while you're swooping over and people in larger groups assume room temperature.

TOWs are fired from about 1500-3000 meters from the target, and kill a hard target with an explosive warhead. Hydras are personal, the hand grenade of air to ground missiles that kill a radius with shrapnel.

Ahh, I just repaired the things, never knew what they were used for. ;) Perhaps this is an area where further public discussion would be inappropriate.

I tried to avoid smoking in helicopters, something about the fuel and large round things made up of high explosives always made me a bit nervous flicking my bic around them.

My flying bag, which I still use...

??? I don't think there's anything classified about them, the technology is almost as old as I am. And I could talk about eggbeaters all day, I have a lot of memories and they're a helluva lot of fun.

Here's a better shot of all my flying bags, the one on the right was my first bag I used when I flew an OH58, and the more modern jepperson bag is the one I used more lately.

Of course, but the legal obligations from that stage in my career (many years ago now) are still in force, unfortunately. I'll restrict myself to saying "The VS1's were giving it that!" and making a windscreen-wiper gesture, which should be sufficiently mysterious to the unenlightened. :)

Since this thread has gone completely off the rails, could I ask one of you weapons specialists to correct the 'cannon' picture for Quatloos cannoneer rank. Cannons are not fired with burning string unless you want the target to have sailed away by the time the fizzing bit reaches the touch-hole.
