My thoughts on this forum: It's basically here for the amusement of those of us who are amused by such things. I don't mean to be condescending - from time to time, I'm amused by it too. I would only lock a thread here if it gets (1) political/religious, (2) abusive, or (3) non-amusing. Since it's neither (1) nor (2), and there are folks here for whom Uncle Ernie's fiddling around is still amusing, I wouldn't lock it at this point.

Still, as always, YMMV. After all, we are, for the benefit of Fox News, an anarcho-syndicalist commune.

Not that I would fight hard to prevent the thread from being locked, as it's just not worth the effort (and the loss of dignity), but I agree with this. I'd add that, ever since Deep Knight signed off for the last time (may the Slice Girls have mercy on him), we haven't had a convenient source of madness. Much more convenient to have it delivered than to have to go hunting it down.

No Big Jim Slades in Winnipeg.... There are only two seasons in Winnipeg:
