This past week was the 60th anniversary of the armistice that ended (supposedly) the Korean War. I would ask for a moment to remember all the men and women who gave their lives to defend another countries sovereignty from another's oppression. I think we all know that the Korean War never actually ended, when my brother in law served there in the mid 60s there were still casualties and to this day it is still listed as an unsafe environment for military personnel. To serve at the DMZ is still considered a combat posting. And with all the rhetoric we hear out of Pyongyang we know why.
