Tax Attorney

Post by Sertsa »

I have roughly seventeen hours left in law school. Two semesters as a night student or one as a day student. I'm an enrolled agent, but I've never taken a single accounting course. I've also never prepared a return other than my own. But for the last five years, I've worked at a tax boutique that provides niche federal income tax services. But I want to be a lawyer. Specifically, I want to work in the nexus of business and tax law, mostly with smaller businesses, e.g. professional practices, which seem like an underserved market. How do I get there from here?

Thanks.
