I don't even have the words to describe the WTP Foundation site today.....here's the opening:
Notice:
This Foundation is currently battling the Department of Justice (and federal Judiciary)
which are attempting to unlawfully censor our bold exercise of the First Amendment
and stop us from disseminating information highly damaging to the Government.

We urge everyone to read the legal pleadings below,
learn about the Speech the Government is trying to censor, and
decide for yourself who is really committing criminal acts against the People.

I believe the web site has been updated since Monday (22 Feb.). Yet, I see no mention of the Feb. 22 loss for Schulz at the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Or am I missing it somewhere? I see just the briefs, etc., but no mention that WTP/Schulz lost.

I do see the plea for more money.

Correction: obviously 22 Feb was last Friday.

Reminds me of the old joke about the three dogs (entrenpreneur's dog, thieve's dog, and farmer's dog) sitting outside the bank scheming how to raise money to buy some kibble. The first dog said, "let's borrow it", the second dog said, "let's steal it", and the farmer's dog said, "Just sit out here and whine. Sooner or later they'll come out and give us some money".

If you scroll down the main page, there's an update posted Feb 26th, titled "SCOTUS Says NO."

The details spell out very clearly how WTP lost.

And then asks for money.

Am I the only one amazed by the use of the present tense?

Once certiorari has been denied, you have lost. There is no more "battling" to do. It's over. Finished. Kaput.

It is an ex-battle.
