The audio for the morbidly curious. And as an aside, don't post anything about Vital until I get the chance to ask for his side of the story.

This just keeps getting better and better, in a really worse way.

Re: Lentz, Karl
I was listening to one of Karl's recent calls (can't recall which one - there are so many and I skip around). Karl was making excuses for why Frank had not been freed yet with the magic of Karl's powerful paperwork. The excuse? Because Frank had not included Karl on his list of friends and family who could visit!
Karl played this off as if it were a simple mistake, Frank simply forgot to include him. But if Frank Russo was really a believer in this sovcit stuff, how could he forget that? Perhaps Frank realizes how bad of a position he is in and Karl is mad that he won't get to "help" (and by "help" I mean destroy whatever minor chance Frank might ever have of seeing the outside of a prison).

Re: Lentz, Karl
Yesterdays call, April 12th, might be the craziest call and contains things I don't think can even be typed here. It starts off strong with Karl recording a call to a hospital without notifying them that the call is being recorded, we find out about a no-contact order against Karl and his mom. Karl simultaneously argues that there is no child porn to be found on the computers and cameras that were seized, then arguing that any photos had to be downloaded and not produced by Frank then also mentioning that the drives are still being processed by police searching for pictures.
In the meantime a possible inconvenient fact is on display over on the court website. The date of the alleged offences is September 2010, at which point the alleged victim would be 7 years old. But raises questions of whether, assuming the allegations are true, the pictures are still there or were deleted or overwritten with new date and whether or not they even need them to secure a conviction.

Lentz just doesn't seem to grasp the concept of STFU. He does seem to like violating court orders though, maybe he'll get some more alone time as a result. I certainly would want a no contact order if I'd had to cross his path.

Re: Lentz, Karl
It keeps getting worse.
In the April 13th call Karl discloses that his mom is on 3 years probation because of sores found in the kids mouth. Karl argues that the kid said the sores were caused by rinsing his mouth with salt water but due to a speech impediment the school nurse thought the kid said the grandma was putting scissors in his mouth.

Sounds like the entire family is altogether too charming, and some people a child, or anyone else for that matter, should not be in contact with.

Re: Lentz, Karl
Believe it or not, although the state took Karl's kids six months ago and his stepfather has been incarcerated 6 months with Karl unable to get him out of jail, and him losing a traffic case and 3 civil cases all in the first quarter of 2016, Karl's Guru activities have not slowed down. On the April 21st call he talks to 3 paying customers to whom he simply repeats his same schtick.
Meanwhile, Karl held what appears to be a seminar down in Tennessee:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itqVte5FuDc
In which he repeats his argument that the government does not have jurisdiction over cases of sexual abuse of children if they happen on private property.
Karl and Gus have been active in Tennessee but it's all been below the radar and very hush hush. They have a big client by the name of either Paul or Donald Watson, from the description he's an ex-pat from England.
I've been trying to dig up what the case is about but the courts down in TN don't put case information online and they've been very tight-lipped about what the case is about.
There's also been zero mention of their client Tracy or Stacy even though her trial was two months ago.

Lentz is, as near as I can determine, a conscienceless bottom feeder. The only thing he seems to be about is his ego, and more importantly, the MONEY.

Holy hell I should have watched the full clip before linking it.
Am I crazy or around minute 2:30 does Frank's lawyer contradict Karl's claim that there were no pictures?

Re: Lentz, Karl
It almost seems as if the more Karl loses, the more the idiots line up to pay him more money...so they can lose their cases. It is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. The sovcit world is the only place where you become more popular as you rack up more loses.Jeffrey wrote:Believe it or not, although the state took Karl's kids six months ago and his stepfather has been incarcerated 6 months with Karl unable to get him out of jail, and him losing a traffic case and 3 civil cases all in the first quarter of 2016, Karl's Guru activities have not slowed down. I wonder what Karl charges to his "clients" and I wonder how much of that is reported on his taxes (I'd guess $0).

Re: Lentz, Karl
What always intrigues me about Karl is that he lies about everything. Not just the big stuff - his sovcit theories, his history of court losses, etc. Even the small stuff, he loves to make things up in order to sound smart.
For example, Karl loves giving off this image that he is a legal scholar/farmer. Hes a humble man you see, he just happens to be a brilliant legal scholar. As part of that delusion, Karl talks about how Thomas Jefferson's epitaph simply mentions hes a farmer. Karl is inferring that he is a great mind like Jefferson, and like Jefferson, just a simple farmer.
The problem is that Jefferson's epitaph doesn't say hes a farmer at all. In fact Jefferson was extremely specific about what was to be written on his tombstone: https://www.monticello.org/site/researc ... gravestone.
So even on these small little things, Karl just makes things up. And yet none of his followers can bother to google fact check him, and instead pay him thousands of dollars to hear his lies.

Ah yes, Karl is enraging Frank's attorney, I am sure that will make things all the better for Frank. Nothing like having your advocate very angry with you because your nutty relatives are harassing them.

Re: Lentz, Karl
While I have exactly NO sympathy for someone accused of what Frank is accused of, I also don't think he needs the "help" Karl is giving him. He hasn't been convicted yet, and doesn't need things made worse for him than he has already accomplished on his own. The happiest resolution to this in my mind would be for Karl to be convicted along with him as an accessory or some such, since I think he is at the very least an enabler, and probably more. I am of the opinion that someone who sees no wrong in what Frank allegedly did is just as bad and then tries to justify it or explain it away as Karl has done is just as guilty and reprehensible.

After Karl's call to the attorney he has his followers call the attorney and harass him. They add the call to the talkshoe so they can laugh about it. Its like a bunch of 15 year olds.
Also, it looks like Frank paid $15k for his attorney.

Re: Lentz, Karl
Got us an update. Karl hasn't done any shows since 4/21st and I may have figured out the reason.
On the 29th he ran a red light and is due in court May 17th at 1:00 p.m. to fight the $175 fine.
I will note that you only see the red light ticket and no additional "driving while suspended" charge, the reason for that? Karl paid the $133 fine for driving without plates on his trailer.
