Apprently this judge wasn't any more impressed than the one who did the arraignment.
Wonder when, or if, the penny will drop and she will figure out no one is buying her load of sheep dip.

Obviously, this woman does not have the education or intellectual capital to have done anything more than fill out and submit copies of bogus documents and try to memorize the instructions for her court appearance.notorial dissent wrote:Apprently this judge wasn't any more impressed than the one who did the arraignment.

The more serious problem is, whoever led her into this absurd "belief" is out there luring more and more ignorant, desperate and even sociopathic people into it. If and when it fails (as in her case), the actual perpetrators will probably blame her for not doing it right.
Like so many who buy (literally, in some cases) into whacko legal theories, the fact that they have been duped is impossible for them to comprehend once they've committed to the scheme. Their ego simply cannot admit failure, especially when the path they chose should have solved all their economic problems and provided a huge "victory" over their perceived oppressor.

Re: More Moors in Tennessee
I have read varying reports about Gentry prior to this little escapade, and it sounded like she had been attending school and was a fairly stable sensible individual. So the question then would be what knocked her off that path and on to the looney train, as something seems to have.
I quite agree that whoever filled her head with this nonsense and started her down this pathway is just as guilty of the crimes she is charged with as she is, and I hope it all comes out eventually in court, as they need to be put away.

I think it comes down to just being immature, having poor priorities, being uneducated and gullible, and all of the other things that cause one to be a purported sovrun. What I find interesting is that the sovruns always claim they are victims of "fraud" and that the issue is their "rights." Yet, for all their claims that they want "justice" they seem to have no concept of it.notorial dissent wrote:I have read varying reports about Gentry prior to this little escapade, and it sounded like she had been attending school and was a fairly stable sensible individual. They believe it is fine to borrow money from a bank to buy a house they can't afford. But if a bank tries to foreclose when they stop paying, well, that means there was "fraud" and "injustice".
They believe that they or anyone else can send a notice giving you a few days to respond or have to pay them hundreds of thousands of dollars (even though they have no damages and there has been no due process and the notice not received).
In this case, they believe they can walk into a foreclosed mansion and take it over, and that there is somehow some "natural law" that entitles them to live in that mansion and oh the injustice that would occur if they have to go find a home the way everyone else does.

A 39-year-old man was charged in a criminal complaint with threatening the life of President Barack Obama.
Investigators heard Darrin Young (aka Darrin Fleming) make the threats while speaking on the phone with Shelby County inmate Tabitha Gentry.
During their conversation, Young is allegedly heard saying they’re going to “burn,” “kill” and “murk” (street slang for murder) the president. He is then heard saying, “We gonna f– his a– up.”

She is referring to the 1786 Treaty of Friendship and Peace with Morocco and the Barbary States, which in Moorish theology has been retitled to a treaty "...with the Moors".
http://www.clockofdestiny.com/m-a.htm
It remains the longest lived US treaty - still in force after all these years. The judge in the video might have been in error telling this woman that it wasn't American law, as it is still a valid treaty of the US.
However, in another context, it is very interesting because it contains a clause that says explicitly that the US is "not a Christian country" and that Moslems and Christians are legally equal under US law.

BTW, Gentry's habeas was summarily dismissed (no response required from TN) in early May.
I'm shocked.

For those of our readership who aren't familiar with habeas practice in U.S. state criminal systems, this outcome doesn't surprise us because Step One in judicially evaluating these motions is supposed to be for legal sufficiency. This one had none. Thus, it is done.

Re: More Moors in Tennessee
Apparently, Tabitha Gentry's attempt to take, er, the direct approach to declaring sovereignty did not work.
'Sovereign citizen' convicted of trying to run over cops
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Memphis woman who calls herself a sovereign citizen has been convicted of trying to run over two police officers.
Shelby County prosecutors say a jury on Wednesday found 34-year-old Tabitha Gentry guilty of aggravated assault and intentionally evading arrest in a vehicle.
Gentry was accused of trying to run over the officers during an Oct. 9, 2012, traffic stop.
Gentry claims to be a member of the Moorish American National Republic. She told the judge that she did not recognize the court's authority and chose to spend most of the trial in an adjoining lockup area.
In a separate case, prosecutors say Gentry faces theft charges for illegally squatting in a vacant $3 million Memphis mansion. The property was for sale after being foreclosed on by a bank.

Sounds like she's really racking them up, not to mention having gone much further down the rabbit hole.
