I just happened come by
Thomas James Rockroads III in a Google search for Canadian Freeman Dean Clifford. Admittedly I have spent less than 5 minutes research on this guy, but I felt he needed to have a spot light on him.
According to an FBI press release (dated August 21, 2015), he is considered a violent offender:

THOMAS JAMES ROCKROADS III, a 30-year-old resident of Busby, appeared on charges of assault on a federal officer and use of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. If convicted of the most serious charge contained in the indictment, ROCKROADS faces 20 years in prison, $250,000 in fines and five years’ supervised release. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. PACER Case Reference. 15-78
Now comes his Federal lawsuit, in which he is suing for a grand total of
$1.186 BILLION !!!
