As if things weren't scary enough, this popped up recently.
Peace Officers(Convention) Uniting to End State and Federal Tyranny. Las Vegas, NV, Jan 29-31, 2012
Among other things here is a list of the topics of discussion at the convention:
Bill of Rights Training from Michael Badnarik
Presentation on the Second Amendment from Larry Pratt
Presentation on the Tenth Amendment and state sovereignty
Presentation on the threat of Agenda 21 to state sovereignty
Presentation on Continental Congress 2009’s Articles of Freedom
County Sheriff Success Stories on Enforcing the Bill of Rights
Presentation on formation of a Sheriff’s Posse
Joint Declaration notifying specific federal agencies about specific violations that county sheriffs will no longer tolerate in their counties.
I find this about as scary and probably more disturbing than some of the sovrun stuff that we hear more about, and these people are serious, and they have guns.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.
Dan Evans
Foreman of the Unified Citizens' Grand Jury for Pennsylvania
(And author of the Tax Protester FAQ: evans-legal.com/dan/tpfaq.html)
"Nothing is more terrible than ignorance in action." Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
What's truly scary is reading the comments of some of the locals in the paper here who went to this, going on about how much they learned at the convention. Now that is really getting on to scary.
