Judge Herrick attempted to ask some questions designed to determine the ability of the defendant to represent himself.

Herrick: “I don’t have to show you anything…the defendant is remanded.”

I noticed that, at first, Jshawn (is that really his, or anybody's, name?) said he had been in court only once, in Clearwater, Fla. (which reminds me that Clearwater is the regional HQ for the Scientologists), and later says that he had represented himself in court numerous times.

He came into the arraignment with a chip on his shoulder, and not much higher up, and now he's getting free room and board at taxpayers' expense.
