TNT's "MAJOR CRIMES"

Last night, on episode 5 of TNT's new drama, "MAJOR CRIMES," two sovereign citizens, father and son, kidnap two college kids and hold them for ransom. The target is the father of the victims, an attorney who had represented a battered wife pro bono in divorce proceedings against the "sovereign" son.

It will be rebroadcast during this week and at 7 central time on Sept. 17.

Review: OK.

The sovs were only about one tenth as wacky as what we've come to consider normal here.

I tuned in last night for the hot sovereign action. What a poorly written / paced show.

The only thing it EVER had going for it was the original lead character, otherwise it was strictly very low budget formula.

I did not like the woman who plays the new captain. Her character is flat.
