In Jail By Consent?

Post by ngupowered »

For this topic, I wish, require & will, in effect before today, to be made moderator. There are far too many people writing nonsensical posts concerning law which they don't understand.
The purpose of this topic is to rebut ST1. As of now, it stands.

ST1 = Court require consent of the parties, expressed or implied in action, for adjudication

Sufficient rebuttal includes testimony of in -court, jail & arrest -conduct.

Reason: Adding back in the poll option. And another!
If this was my last post, you'd know I was inappropriately banned

There's no way in hell anyone here would grant you moderator powers.

First we must apply your rules to your post.
According to you a request for a post to be rebutted is conditional upon that post first having the support of three other people. No three people, no requirement for a rebuttal.
Those are your rules.
So run along and find three current members who support your post.
You've got twelve hours.

I still want to discuss how troll or trollish by-products would be possibly included in the fermenting of ale. And would anyone really consider drinking troll ale? That should be on the poll question as well.

And here we see the true colours. Although The Gnu enjoys the benefit of not having his posts deleted, if given the chance he would be quick to delete other people's posts.
It's all about control, you know.

Yeah, it is almost as though he is against discussing the merits of troll ale vs. the disadvantages of troll ale. The least he could do is to add it to the poll question. It might actually make the thread more educational and interesting.

Regardless of what ngu's signature indicates, he did consent to having his posts edited. We all did when we registered. And it's the standard phpBB TOS that comes with the forum software so...yeah.

And he can't revoke that consent because none of the admins here consent to that.

So, we could add the option to his poll and he'd have no right to complain because he consented.

Oh, screw it. I'm adding it to the poll. Rest assured that I'm not modifying any other part of his posts. Just adding that one option.

Remove that option from the poll. I have updated my signature.
Also delete all the posts hitherto except of course the initial.
You're failing in your duty, moderators!

The moderators are doing their jobs just fine. Your report reasons failed were ruled frivolous so they simply closed them out. And the admins moderate the moderators.

I don't consent.

Yeah, to say that you don't consent to having your polls edited. You consented to your posts and polls being altered when you registered. Well, technically it says topics, but all posts and polls are within topics so, guess what? You consented.

But here's the thing. You only consented to having Quatloos (and by extension those entrusted to moderate the forum) edit your posts, not yourself. So since you don't consent to editing your posts, I've removed your ability to do so.

Bring the edit option back on.

Good point, I updated my signature. Since I saw that polls were included in the post, I removed that as well.
Now, moderate away all the posts thus far - not the first.
