I mean, I guess that's the question for me. It's the same one I ask myself about, for example, people who charge money for "psychic readings". Does the practitioner know it's a lie? Or is he so thoroughly convinced of his own BS that he can't see his way out?

I have an open offer for pyschics, I'll pay for an hour of your reading, if you can charge it to my debit card without me giving you the card number. No one has taken me up on it yet.

I was always of the firm belief that if they were truly psychic, they would call me when I needed them. And honestly, until I see the headline " Psychic wins lottery", Im not gonna hold my breath waiting for them to call.
