It's all about greed, and also wanting to believe something.

People want to believe the Government is up to no good. This makes it easy, there are only a few things one has to believe to make it possible.

How many thousands of Nigerian Scams have been pulled off over the years, those are far less believable than this scam, yet greed makes people do it.

I also think that to some extent the problem is it is easy to misunderstand the law and forms that are required for certain things, making easy for the scammer to take advantage of naive people.

I did attend a couple of the "seminars" he went to, but I was thrown out of the second because the nature of my questions indicated to the presenter that I was "not ready" for the ground-breaking secrets of wealth protection that he was going to reveal to the less aggressively inquisitive
I'm impressed that you were thrown out...that's actually the best wealth protection package you could opt for. You did get your silver dollar back on the way out the door?
