If you were going to go back after a guitar why not the Strat Hendrix lit on fire at Monterrey or Blackie? Blackie sold for close to a mill when it was auctioned. I don't remember what happened to the remains of Hendrix Monterrey guitar but I know Zappa owned the one he lit on fire in London and used it for many years.
