In this case in particular you would be right. It would be kind of hard not to be under duress when you have a whole lot of real cranky guys(Barons) with sharp pointy things pointed at you demanding that you sign said document, or else!!!! As I recall, that was one of the excuses for repudiating it later that John took advantage of.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.
