Just phoned the court and he is correct his appeal was "allowed" - which means his conviction was cancelled/overturned.

Looking at the court listings though it looks like the case was only in session for around 30/40 mins in total - so might be more of a default as someone didn't appear?

I agree. It was listed for two days at one point so something wasn't right and the CPS must have said forget it.

There has to be some truth in what Heidi Hi says about other charges coming Chrisy Morris's way. One of his close friends, Cindy Vanstone says on his FB "One down, one to go". Pity it's only "one" though as I was hoping there were a few: Malicious communication, theft, harassment being some of them...

He has NOT been charged yet for the offences I have mentioned so far.
Essex Police sent the recording of his mention hearing to Deryshire police. Why I do not know as the offence occurred at Chelmsford Crown Court via video link to Minshull St Crown Court. I have NO need to lie, but as I have already stated previously I can NOT release full details until the Charges have been laid. He will still be innocent until proven guilty as is the LAW in England. I/We are not going to jeopardise getting a conviction through being sloppy and giving him a get out of jail card.
On another note did Rekha contest the writ in the high court?
If so did the high court state the writ was valid?

This is the most detailed judgement I can find on the latest High Court Chancery Division's verdict re Rekha Patel eviction etc. I mean you can't get much more deified than this fella, HH Judge Pelling QC.

What was the problem in court today? Did Morris get off on a technicality? The 2-day trial appears to have been abruptly ended after just 40 mins which makes me think the police or CPS hadn't done their homework

(a) cause Cwissy some stress and incurs costs by attending Court in Manchester ( ha ha ) then

(b) let him off so he thinks he has won, so that

( c) he continues to be a knob, and enboldenned by his win goes on to commit a real breach for which he will get into proper trouble.
