Can't wait for an update on this one. From one of the meter tampering groups, the guy seriously thinks he's going to get £100k compensation from the police.

His initial report ..
So, having now been arrested by the police for extracting electricity and I may have to go to court and be charged with theft.

I must now investigate and prove that I have stolen nothing as I believe that the energy company OVO Energy do not supply the energy and that it’s supplied by the national grid.

I have looked into this and their claim is that although they do not claim to produce electricity, they claim to purchase it from the national grid who themselves claim in my case to sell it to UK Power Networks who then claim to redistribute it and charge for it by metering it to their customers, in my case OVO Energy who I have never had a contact with just an account.

The national grid of course claim to purchase electricity from sources that do claim to generate electricity, so maybe they also need to prove that this is the case.

I paid the account in full and closed the account before vacating and closing the account and fitting my own meter via you guys, but later I returned to the property and continued to use electricity and then waiting to receive a letter I knew I would never get, namely an offer of a contract and so I paid no attention to anything else.

So how can I prove or disprove this ?

Someone has suggested that it can be proved or disproved be VAT receipts by both the national grid and OVO energy ?

I know I do not have and have never had a contractual agreement of any kind with OVO energy and that most likely no one has any kind of contact with any of these so called energy suppliers ?

I was always prepared to face this when I came, but now I may have to be able to prove this in court.

I was arrested by the police and they have broken so many laws in doing so that I may be able to pursue all concerned for around £100,000 particularly regarding the alleged warrant and then the subsequent behaviour of our wonderful ‘ policy ‘ enforcers, but at present I have been released without bail pending investigation.

Your input is welcome of course and I have others who are in a similar position and we are all conferring.

Initially when I learned about all of this my initial thoughts were that they were impoverishing the majority for the maximum profits of such companies who are making huge extortionate profits at the expense of us all. So I decided to take a stand as I have done with just about everything else that is being forced on us all without consent.

Latest exciting update ..

"Just to follow on from my story if you have been looking at it , I have just received an email from Suffolk Police telling me that it’s been passed on to their insurers !! 😂😂

So to me it looks like I may he getting compensation or something

The list of things they have done wrong is very long and I can’t tap away all day 😂

Just look back at my previous posts and I’m in for around £100k or so in compensation

I’ll let you know"

These lot have no clue in how energy supply works here in the UK. They often get confused about National Grid, they just transport Gas & Electricity, they don't generate anything.

It's like them going into Tesco, walking out with a basket of shopping and saying "You don't produce any of this food, I'll ask Eddie Stobart to send me a bill for it."

Unfortunately that particular meter tampering group has decided that guy was "controlled opposition" just posting to scare people out of paying the group to replace their meters. So they've booted him out.

This guy won't last long either, because as they all know, stuff like that does not happen ..

Am unwilling to contract with them again
Looking for alternative ways to have electric and gas independent of the grid…. If possible…
Open to suggestions/advice/etc… "

UW using haste have removed both gas and electric meters
That hardly ever happens with residential accounts now, they fit a pre-payment meter. Either this is commercial, or they removed the meters because there was a risk of him blowing up/burning down the place. Which isn't hard to believe.

I guess it is possible to get electricity off the grid - your own solar panels, wind turbine or hydro-electric dam, but it would all cost £££.

Fitting your own meters? Pah, amateurs!

A Wigan-based rogue utilities company teamed up with criminals to dig up roads and divert power supplies to scores of cannabis farms across the country. The colossal scam was smashed by police and led to 100 farms being uncovered and plants worth £21m seized.

Workers from the firm, called "Elev8," wore high vis jackets and used signage to close roads to give the impression they were doing legitimate work in broad daylight.

There were a few people on related groups reporting they'd be disconnected. One even posted up all the paperwork confirming. I've seen guidance the in cases of meter tampering but no reason to suspect energy theft, they should fit prepayment meters. If energy theft is believed then disconnect. That makes perfect sense to me, if the householder removed the authorised meter once, then they're likely to remove the prepay meters as well (assuming they have another spare £500).

Recently I watched a review of a Jon Wedger interview by a channel called Blank Faces (not a Jon Wedger fan - nor am I). [url]]

Does anyone know what this comment refers to - sounds Freeman on the Land-ish but I don't know what the commenter (tobyreynolds) is alluding to:- "check out peacemakers, they've just won a landmark case holding the jusiciary, banks and governments to account. It appears you lack some vital information and knowledge".

It's true I don't know what on earth the chap is waffling on about.

By the way, thank you to the folk who commiserated with me on the loss of my cat in January.

Peacemakers is just a Freeman on the Land faction. Instead of Magna Carta or Common Law they use "The People's Peace". Amounts to the same thing.
