Not pretending for a minute to speak for the author, but I suspect she's aware. There's a fine line to take between writing a coherent journalistic story that will sell and "surely someone can't be that bat shit crazy?" unbelievability!

It's the only reason I can think that O'Bonkers doesn't get in the Daily Mail on a regular basis. No-one would believe it! :snicker:
