Re: Baron David Ward
Not having followed the thread but is it his house or is he a tenant?
In the UK now, for a property to be marketed it needs to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for which access is required. The survey needs to be booked prior to marketing and produced within 28 days of marketing.
Nothing to do with this thread but Entwistle Green are a fairly large North West of England chain of estate agents who don't always comply with the legislation.

Re: Baron David Ward
So are we to assume from this that the good baron doesn't actually own the manor and is about to be turfed out of his castle?
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

Re: Baron David Ward
He gives his location as Winsford, Cheshire. Whereas there are a few high value properties in the area, they are the exception.
In the 60's Winsford was given the 'status' of new town. Large numbers of low value social housing estates were built which were unsubscribed for quite some time - it was a bit of a new town created in the middle of nowhere that the city dwellers, for whom the new town was developed, shunned it.
It is no coincidence (IMO) that the police headquarters for Cheshire Constabulary was relocated to Winsford in the 80's/90's.
So, the Baron's residence probably isn't baronial.

Ha ha har, the Baron. Top value.
Let it be written.
Let it be said.
It's a feckin mystery.
What's inside his head.
He's written his letters
He's lots to learn
His paper terrorism
Targets Chief Constable Byrne
The Estate Agent is selling
the house of Ward
He'll have to move in
With Tom Craw-ford
Let me make this expressly clear
I've had enough I'm off for a beer

Why is it that maroons that say."let me be clear" then launch into 5,000 words of unclear, irrelevant and WTFing of word salad?

Well, this is going to be entertaining. Hopefully the Bailiffs will come to turf him out onto the street soon, and we can enjoy the whole thing on youtube. I'm intrigued by the mention of an imaginary "province marshal" who will command UK armed forces to prevent the eviction. Not sure if that demonstrates Baron Von StreetDrinker's delusional mindset, or if it's a cut and paste from some other part of the world.Gandalf The Tramp wrote:Let us also make expressly clear that if Cheshire Constabulary's Chief Constable Simon Byrne does not attend to this matter with the greatest of expediency and that we have been formally notified by Cheshire Constabulary's Chief Constable Simon Byrne that these wilful and belligerent acts of terrorism have been formally suppressed, then we will be contacting the province marshal who carries the obligation and authority to command the British armed forces.

The Baron is a modest man. Despite being an international computer exert who created the Bank of England's ICT systems, and an accomplished Attorney at law, he chooses to live amongst the poorest of his subjects. Don't be fooled by the neglected exterior though, or the dilapidated Chinese motorcycle. Once through that door, it's all marble draped in leopardskin, with solid gold fittings.Pox wrote:So, the Baron's residence probably isn't baronial.

Re: Baron David Ward
A few points. I don't think you need an EPC if it a repossession / auction sale. What is puzzling me is why is he still there? If the place had been repossessed he'd have been thrown out. My suspicion would be the place is being sold with him as tenant otherwise the agent is getting ahead of themselves with putting up a for sale sign. Is his landlord cutting his losses and getting out of the problem of his loony tenant?

Now I will cheerfully admit that I am somewhat elephant's trunk and Mozart having just got in from the pub but either I'm more elephant's trunk and Mozart than I should be after 7 pints or the good baron is accusing his bank of terrorism for refusing to refund his DD to TV licencing.Hercule Parrot wrote:Have you seen this mountain of tripe? https://www.dropbox.com/s/7tkq631l455vo ... 6.pdf?dl=0JamesVincent wrote:Why is it that maroons that say."let me be clear" then launch into 5,000 words of unclear, irrelevant and WTFing of word salad?
