Of course. Despite surviving cancer, being a haemophiliac and full of blood clots and having recent major surgery he continues with a physical occupation that involves lots of kneeling and sharp knives. What could possibly go wrong?

My guess is if you leave your vehicle on private property illegally , you really cannot be surprised to find it towed away.
I would imagine it to be costing between £27/£50 per day and if its on SORN you had better arrange for a transporter to collect. What is written on the side? maybe "visit GetoutofDebtFree.org" .

I started following the Tom Crawford eviction on BTBAB Facebook page, but was removed because i didn't agree that Tom won his case, and have followed this thread in the background for a little while with great interest

What i can't get my head around, is they still keep going, despite never winning and losing their homes, Why can't they learn that they will never win ?

I am also following the Guy Taylor story with interest too, I want to see where he ends up

The other one i am following is Elizabeth Watson who is the next one who will face the Bailiffs trying to take her home in 19 days time

Once i have learned fully how the forum works, i hope to contribute to the discussions here

Welcome, Colin, and this forum works like most others, except we require actual citations to laws, and referances/links to any material being relied upon, so that people can make up their own opinion.

It is amazing how these folks all persue the same path to homelessness despite past losses (Which they may consider victories). I think they are under the impression that they are right, and just need to find the right judge that will see it their way. However, these judges are like unicorns, as none have ever accepted these positions. They like to quote old laws, cases out of context, and laws that are from other countries (ie. UCC) to make their point. I think at this point it is huberous that keeps them going. Having long known they have lost, they can't admit to failure, it has to be someone elses fault. The corrupt courts, the illegal banks, etc. They really do believe they are right, but they are the only ones... It is quite sad really....

Hi Colin,

Taking your question about why they keep on, I think it comes down to desperation, 'face' and belief. There are studies about this sort of thing, but it boils down to, once you get to a certain point you can't not believe in the stuff, and will torture reality to try and make it fit the way that you think think things ought to be. And sometimes even when you realise it isn't working you are at a point where it is too embarassing for you to back down - to do so would utterly break you. I also think there are some mental factors which make some people more susceptible (no matter what their 'intelligence' is).

Belief is an amazing thing. It brings out both the best and worst of us, and is beyond any logic. As is 'face' - call it pride, self-esteem, mana, etc.

This does not apply to the vermin gurus who know the whole thing is a scam - they make cold-callers and second-hand car salesmen look like paragons of honesty.

I wonder if it's not more to do with a need to belong. I doubt these people have many friends and once they find a group which is accepting of them they're frightened to disagree in case they're rejected. One thing is for sure, they are completely incapable of thinking for themselves and people like Ceylon, PoE et al who may not be that bright themselves have the ability to smell weakness in others and exploit it.

This is why I think they, and especially the (actual) shills like Bertie, who certainly must be getting something out of this & & SalliNae too, who encourage innocents to come on in though they must know there's nothing but trouble to be gained from it, are particularly evil. Putting up signs to say full speed ahead when they know the bridge is down is a special kind of evil.

Unlike some places, Quatloosians encourage corrections. If you know something is wrong, then say so (politely).

As far as I know, Mr Ebert doesn't charge for his insanely stupid advice that led to Tom losing his house. As far as I know, he doesn't charge for teaching Guy Taylor about "forensic document analysis". If he does, then he is a scammer as well as a liar (as has been proven in court).
