I didn't watch the TV show, not really a priority in my packed social calendar. Is it downloadable anywhere, might be interesting to snip out out bits for dubbing with Benny Hill theme etc...

Re: Chrisy Morris - Parking Tickets and Bailiffs.
I was underwhelmed with the whole programme. It was very lightweight and didn't show much more than that stuff already on YT. It failed to challenge or question in any great depth whether what Pissy Morris does is effective / correct. The few short interview sequences with him showed there is absolutely no depth to his rationale beyond " it's wrong and we have to show the establishment this cannot go on." If anything, the ending made him to be a generally irrelevant as the bailiffs always come back another day.
I doubt the programme impressed anyone other than his existing army of supporters. He came across as a cocky gobby foul mothed nuisance.
A programme that explored and tore apart these peoples ( ie TC, Ceylon, Guy Taylor ( where's he gone? ) crackpot views would be much more entertaining.

I'll go along with that , in that he doesn't win any "case"Chrisy Morris AKA "Mr Martini": We don't win every case
Interesting to note that the great actress Maxine Peake narrated this pile of shite. Some may recall Peake being in the recent drama Three Girls covering the Rochdale child-abuse scandal concerning muslim "grooming gangs" playing the part of Sara Rowbotham the sexual health worker whose warnings about the exploitation of young girls in the area repeatedly fell on deaf ears.

Re: Chrisy Morris - Parking Tickets and Bailiffs.
Was this made by the same team that had been following Tom around ?
There was a 2 second clip of people defending Tom's place. Tom must be unhappy
So it was made over a period of nine months and during that time the only real win for Chrisy that they could find was of someone that paid the debt.
I did feel sorry for the family that was split up but at the sametime they were not being evicted by a bank, they were being evicted for non-payment of rent to a private landlord.
How many I wonder of those so called activists would allow a family to live tent free in a house if it was one of them that owned it.
It could have been some old couple's retirement fund.
What an idiot he looked and my heart goes out to his daughter when he went back after the family had left and sat outside to stop an eviction of which as the family had already moved out, the baliffs did not turn up.
Ady from response wasn't bitter much was he

Re: Chrisy Morris - Parking Tickets and Bailiffs.
For me, the standout line was from Chrisy:
The programme answered a point that I had wondered about: why did the police and CPS bother to prosecute Chrisy rather than the usual arrest to get him out of the way, then de-arrest?
The answer seemed to be that Chrisy was well known to local enforcement officers and police, and had been a frequent pain. Slapping him with a big bill would tell him they weren't going to tolerate this any more.
Even if he hasn't paid the fine, it may make him more cautious about deliberately creating conflict.
That summed up the entire show, of a thuggish bloke indulging in conflict, with his only goal to delay evictions for a few days.I'm a conflict junkie.

Re: Battling the bailiffs...Am I the only group member that thinks this...
I've got respect for those that defend rights, but Chrissy went about it all wrong. He knew the programme was to be nationally aired and yet his approach and hence, portrayal was one of a typical yob with no respect (I should know cos I used to be one) this is how the general public will see him and his actions and thereby detracting from the whole message of peoples plight etc. Where was his document pack, why didn't he once mention Common Law jurisdiction, the Constables oath or Article 61. If he did and Chanel 4 edited the important facts out then shame on them and I adjust some of my comments. He came across (from your typical matrix dwellers point of view) as a trouble maker looking for a fight in my opinion and it hasn't helped anyone to look further into the facts of their own mortgage affairs...We all know to stay in honour and respect, I didn't see much if any here...
PS, what does 'ceremonial FU' say to the people, doesn't give them hope does it...
This is only my viewpoint, maybe I missed something, maybe not. Please comment on my post...Ta guy's

If ever there was a TV programme that ASSISTED the bailiff industry it was this one.
Chrisy and his 'comrades' were shown to be mouthy confrontational thugs. I was taken back by the commentator referring to them as activists.

At least one mystery has now been solved. The name of the show was changed from "Beating the Bailiffs" to "Battling the Bailffs" for factual reasons because he didn't actually beat any bailiffs

Of hand I would say she is either disturbed or disturbed about something, or maybe more likely both, but doesn't seem to be able to communicate which or what.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

Re: Chrisy Morris - Parking Tickets and Bailiffs.
Finally, we have confirmation via this documentary that Chrisy morris has never had a success. Of the four examples of evictions shown 1. Rekha Patel is still squatting in her Derbyshire home awaiting court on 19th June where she will likely face a much increased bill as well as contempt of court charges for ignoring an injunction to stay away from Patel Cottage #FAIL 2. The Maldon family "bought time" to pay off their rent arrears but still paid, #FAIL 3. Tobe Leigh, the Maidstone shopfitter was evicted eventually (according to the Coz on these pages) #FAIL, and has made an enemy out of Chrisy Morris in the High Court (#WIN ), 4. the poor family with 5 kids who fell behind in rent for social housing then private have been separated and their kids have gone into foster care. This poor outcome of being deemed "intentionally homeless" by the council can only have been exacerbated by Chrisy Morris's involvement. Evictions are one thing, but what right has he to interfere in a child welfare case? One thing Ady Sutcliffe and his mates said about the evictees resonates..."It's not our risk to take, its theirs." Clearly Morris is too thick to see this.

Re: Chrisy Morris - Parking Tickets and Bailiffs.
I have just watched the programme and thought it was pretty much a whitewash job. If it had been about Hitler they would have concentrated on the great wide roads he built and his love of travel and dogs.
If you are going to make programmes focussed on the common man, they really do need to have more substance than the man just being common. I think a one hour compilation of Youtube clips would have been better television and a more accurate picture.

Anyone else note that Nine Lives Media cut out all of the claims about 'fraudulent instruments' that you can here on the youtube videos made by Chrisy yet kept in Captain Birdseye

Re: Chrisy Morris - Parking Tickets and Bailiffs.
Watched it last night, there wasn't much in it that those of us who already follow his antics weren't already aware of.
The programme made out his exploits to be ultimately futile, as the people he "helped" either paid up, scarpered, were evicted later or are awaiting court action with possible custodial penalty.
It was heavily padded with looks into his personal life, his associates and former friends of the movement which implies that for all the time he was followed, not much of it was deemed suitable for transmission in a documentary programme of this nature.
It has likely done him more harm than good.

Yes, Penny Wise, it seems Nine Lives Media were protecting Chrisy by deleting his references to 'Fraudulent instrument' but hanging Captain Birdseye (Hoffmann) out to dry. Chrisy has already been bragging during his Facebook live Q&A 2 nights ago that he and Colin (Nine Lives Media director & producer) are BFFs and on each others Xmas card lists. Wonder for how long. Twitter is crucifying the documentary right now so I doubt if there'll be a sequel.
