There is no need for guns, tasers, smashed windows or handcuffs. Sometimes less is more. This forty second "I am not contracting with you" clip is still my favourite even though I first saw it back in 2009. I still laugh today at the point when she says: "Can you get my bag?" Also note the top hat on her stomach:Gregg wrote:The shouts of "I do not consent" interrupted repeatedly by howls of pain and the distinct sound of a taser are like porn to me. That is one reason that fewer UK videos get the airplay to make them more than a watered down knockoff, Bobbies don't carry tasers.

It's a matter of personal taste, I suppose. That video just irritates me. I see an entitled, white middle-class hippy wasting a huge amount of Police time. The "Can you get my bag?" remark demonstrates her total confidence that she was enjoying a game without any risk or penalties. As their leader remarked, the only outcome of their removal from the National Trust property they had broken into was “Basically we will just go and squat somewhere else.”rumpelstilzchen wrote:There is no need for guns, tasers, smashed windows or handcuffs. That's not satisfactory for me. There is a time and place for kid glove treatment, when dealing with vulnerable or disturbed people. But for selfish idiots like these, I want to see a cost. Perhaps that makes me a vindictive person, but I think it's really about defending our civil society from parasites.

Some background on Robert Peterson, who really does live in his mum's basement.
https://www.reddit.com/r/amibeingdetain ... azed_by_p/
The woman leaning on the wall next to the counter is his mummy, who came because she just knew this wasn't going to end well.
He was answering charges for riding a bicycle after dark with no lights, which is a vital exercise of his rights.
He never leaves his mummy's house without being better armed than an SAS Commando on a mission, including a semi automatic 9mm machine pistol, a 9 inch survival knife and strapped across his back an AR-15 Assault Rifle complete with bump stock.
He has in the past shown up at the courthouse with all this, expecting to be let into court in Full Rambo.
Also, P. Barnes is standing next to the "no cell phones" sign, which is a nice touch.

It appears that Robert Sproul.the Bane of Glasgow, is due in court soon.
He filmed a family court in session and broadcast it on You Tube.
He was charged with contempt of court but it seems this has been reduced to Breach of the Peace for some reason.
It seems probable that he will soon be back on the streets annoying people and producing more entertainment thereby. I have a lot of sympathy for the rest of the folk of Glasgow.

Re: Random Freemanesque Babblings from idiots unable to sustain their own thread
The video suggests that the court hearing was an administrative hearing so he couldn't be in contempt. I don't quite understand that myself but suppose it could be possible. I am also wondering if he can get a condition of not repeating the breach from one event but doing that from one contempt is less allowable(?). Seems odd because I am sure you can get up to two years imprisonment for contempt but that might depend on the level of the court you are in contempt of.Siegfried Shrink wrote:He was charged with contempt of court but it seems this has been reduced to Breach of the Peace for some reason.

It is indeed 2 years , but flexes on if criminal / civil and direct/indirect contempt. Either way it’s a scrict liability affair.
The irony being , it’s a common law offence.

In the middle of this quite sensible video about "chemtrails" (about 14 minutes in) someone called David Finch is going to prosecute David Cameron (ex-UK Prime Minister) for illegal geo-engineering, which admittedly makes a refreshing change from parking fines and council tax. It may have been this that led to the resignation of Mr. Cameron some time later. Wiser heads than mine will know.
This is typical of the crossover between one set of whacky beliefs and another.
I think some people are not really satisfied till they collect a full set.
They may be disappointed that they do not get an elegant faux-leather album to mount the set in.

That really does require serious licensing and supervision by the Health and Safety elves, and that'll get you every time.

The real reason Mr. Cameron resigned was he was secretly found guilty of high treason in regards to a parking ticket issued to a aware constituent in Ilford. The case was of course sealed to prevent everyone from doing it.

A 'free shed' worth around £25k. Provided FOC for the ex prime ministerial endorsement, no doubt.Wakeman52 wrote:He's currently in hiding in a shed:Gregg wrote:The real reason Mr. Cameron resigned was he was secretly found guilty of high treason in regards to a parking ticket issued to a aware constituent in Ilford. I remember it well. Back in the day I used to ride along a bridleway which ran through that farm. It was a real pain when they started squatting. I missed their removal fortunately.Hercule Parrot wrote: It's a matter of personal taste, I suppose. That video just irritates me.
