Copying from Quatloos to MS Word
Are we not allowed to copy text from Quatloos to an MS Word document?
What kind of bomb was it? The exploding kind.

Re: Copying from Quatloos to MS Word
"Quatloos" does not hold the copyright to the posts on the board - the individual writers do. Q cannot therefore either give or deny permission to copy anything. Moreover, especially since it seems rather unlikely that anyone here has registered any of their posts with the U.S. Copyright Office, collecting anything for an alleged infringement would be . . . problematic.Colonel_Buck wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 11:33 pm Are we not allowed to copy text from Quatloos to an MS Word document?
That said, if you want to copy anything of mine, feel free.

Maybe this is a plea for help with a tech problem.
Cut and paste from Quatloos from a browser to MS Word works fine.
Simply hold down the mouse button at the start of the text you want to copy and drag the cursor to the end of the text. Press Ctrl+C and then in your word document Ctrl+V. Works fine. Just done it. I won't even charge consultancy fees. This is pro bono.

Re: Copying from Quatloos to MS Word
I just copy from the Quatloos post by highlighting and right-mouse (in my case left) to copy then paste directly into a Word file. Nothing to it.
