I read this article in the Mercury News that said that Gregory Reyes faces a 20 year possible sentence for the option backdating scam. That struck me as a pretty heavy penalty. Anyway it's hard to imagine it could compare to Worldcom and Bernie got 25, right? (I worked for those crooks in 1998 and they were obviously crooks even though I didn't have any idea of their crimes.) So I wonder, do any of you have a different guess of his likely sentence?
This other article says:
http://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/stor ... ily20.htmlBrocade widened its 2004 loss to $32 million from $2 million because of misdated options, and in late 2005, Brocade added another $71 million from options.
Is that all?
