You all remember Bill Miller...
Farmington man indicted for allegedly threatening police chief

by Amie Plummer and Josh Rosenson Article Date: Tuesday, January 8, 2008

FARMINGTON — A local man has been indicted on a Class B felony count of criminal threatening in connection with an incident in which he reportedly used a shovel to smash garbage cans and various trees near another man after threatening to physically harm Police Chief Scott Roberge.

For the alleged incident, William Miller, 42, of Farmington is facing a maximum of 31⁄2 to 7 years in prison, and a fine of up to $4,000.

Miller has also been indicted by a Strafford County grand jury on three Class A misdemeanors, two counts of criminal threatening, and one count of disorderly conduct stemming from incidents on or around Oct. 20.

Each charge, if Miller is convicted, carries a maximum penalty of 12 months in jail and a $2,000 fine.

One count of criminal threatening alleges Miller made threats to the town administrator regarding Roberge. The other criminal threatening count alleges Miller made threats of homicide or assault.

The disorderly conduct charge alleges he yelled profanities at people, and made unreasonably loud noises.

Miller was arraigned in superior court on these indictments on Monday. Judge Peter H. Fauver ordered Miller remain in the secure psychiatric unit of the state prison in Concord on $50,000 cash only bail. If Miller posts the bail, he must be accepted by the community corrections program for supervision.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt; rather, it is a determination that enough evidence exists to bring a case to trial.

He definitely needed help - all his audioblogs indicated that, especially some of those last ones.

Couldn't the same be said of almost all the Brown "supporters"?

It seems like the most rational person to have visited was Randy Weaver.

Miller definitely needed psychiatric help, before he killed somebody.

Hopefully that psychiatric unit is taking precautions for the safety of other patients while he is there.
