Yet another phony work-at-home scam
Today's Boston Globe carried a sad story about an unemployed person who answered a work-at-home ad. She was to receive checks and money orders on behalf of her "employer", wire the money to Canada (after, I presume, taking a commission), and all would be hunky-dory for her. You know the rest, folks; and now the woman is out $25,000. The best that she can hope for is to have the bank set up a payment plan for her.
