Too bad that these new notices STILL won't satisfy the "Tax Denial/Show Me the Law" crowd....

That letter would have to start out, "Dear Moron: Normally we would call you tax payer but since you don't believe in them we will have to stick with Moron."Pottapaug1938 wrote:Too bad that these new notices STILL won't satisfy the "Tax Denial/Show Me the Law" crowd....

In that case the letter could state: "We have turned over your case to some of the meanest SOB's in the collections business--here is a picture of them and a DVD to show how they operate. Do you seriously want to play this game?"

Re: IRS releases revised notices and letters
At some point in the last century, I was a Disclosure Specialist in a District Office. We were innundated with letters revoking SSNs, Birth Certificates, etc. In desperation, we finally composed a letter: "Dear (name) We don't know what you're talking about. Furthermore, we don't give a damn. Please go to hell and don't bother us anymore." Our boss refused to sign off on it.
