The rationalizations for their bad behavior is are positively scary, which seems to me to be saying that they knew perfectly well what they were doing was wrong.

Essentially correct, but there are a few twists. The OPPT/I-UV folks are “they bank our worth and that’s stealing” conspiracy theorists, but they also incorporate the “the bankers are making money out of thin air and without risk, and that’s not fair” belief. In the end it comes down to “those bankers are getting rich without working and I want to too” that’s part of “rich people have secret ways of making money and they’re not sharing.” Which of course is true, for example the multiplying cash by burying it under the full moon with an eye of newt, toe of frog, wool of bat, tongue of dog, adder's fork, blind-worm's sting, lizard's leg, and howlet's wing. However, one would think that they wouldn’t be so enthusiastic about adopting Illuminati ways if they realized using black magic darns your soul to heck.

Some time ago, there was an anti-bank poster here, Heidi Geudel.

Others might recall: She was an animation specialist for Disney who was displaced by cheap overseas labor and computer-generated animation. She is now deceased -- died 12/1/2010 at age 62.

In any case, she constantly ranted about how, since banks "created money out of thin air" (fractional reserve banking), she wasn't obligated to repay her car loan, credit card charges, etc. She avoided repossesion of her car and debt collectors by constantly relocating to rentals and friends' homes.

Heidi could not be discouraged. Her views of the banking system WERE CORRECT and not open to discussion or challenge.

A Hawera woman has admitted ripping off local businesses by paying them with fraudulent cheques.

Kiri Campbell, 32, entered a guilty plea in the New Plymouth District Court yesterday in response to four counts of using a document to gain a pecuniary advantage in what her lawyer Paul Keegan said was "a protest against the banking system".

However, no mention was made in court of a $15 million cheque Campbell allegedly banked - the cheque has been at the centre of much online debate.

Campbell's appearance in Hawera on Tuesday attracted about 60 supporters, forcing court staff to temporarily shut the courthouse.

However, the extent of her cause was made clear when it was revealed the total she paid in fraudulent cheques came to almost $65,000, all of which has been recovered, except $481 to Pak 'n Save.

The businesses to which Campbell presented fraudulent cheques were Egmont Autos in Hawera, Dimmocks 100% in Stratford, RJ Eagars in Stratford and Colton's Motor Vehicle Company LMVD and Pak 'n Save in Hawera.

Defence counsel Paul Keegan said Campbell's acts were a protest against the banking system and she regretted the ill effects on individuals and businesses.

"The flavour is of protest and civil disobedience because of the beliefs she has."

Judge Allan Roberts told Campbell he expected her to repay the sum to Pak 'n Save before her sentencing.

Campbell will return for sentencing on October 3.

I really do think Judge Roberts is going to be in for a very deep disappointment when Kiri doesn't pay back the people she cheated, except maybe with some more OPPT funny money. I can't imagine it going well for her at their next meeting either. Always assuming she even bothers to show up at the next hearing, a bet I am not willing to take.

Oh, you can guess how they'll react:

When Kiri is found guilty of fraud on October 3, it will be heralded as a victory by the OPPT people. Why? Because clearly in finding Kiri guilty the court is admitting the entire system is a fraud!

How will they arrive at that conclusion? Using insane leaps of logic like this:
Leap of Logic Step 1 - The bank accepted Kiri's deposit of value, she has a deposit slip. We will ignore that banks always accept deposits for any amount that looks legitimate, thats why they have hold times.
Leap of Logic Step 2 - If Kiri is guilty of fraud, then the bank is guilty of fraud for accepting her deposit of eternal essence! Therefore the entire system is fraud and this proves it.

I'd be willing to bet my entire retirement account on them spinning it in a manner very similar to the above.

It really is kind of funny. We started with the OPPT 6 months ago as a very familar but different spin on the same sov'run insanity. Then, it progressed to a new age 5D cult type of thing when the $5 billion promised by the OPPT to everyone never materialized (because Heather teleported it off the planet to stop the aliens from auctioning us in the galactic human stock market exchange). Now, we have sort of come full circle to the heart of what the OPPT is: same old, same old sov'run remedy that has been failing since the 1970s. Its all there - birth bonds, the US is a corporation (they even pulled up "proof" because there is a company registered under the name United States which we know has nothing to do with the actual government - same old thing we've seen before), secret treasury accounts, you name it. Full circle back into sov'run stupidity.

Kim Beckett here is a True Believer. Shes been sending out courtesy notices and invoices to everyone since January. She hosts OPPT kool aid meetings in her (soon to be foreclosed upon) house. She stopped paying the mortgage in January due to the OPPT UCC legal gibberish filings, and the foreclosure process arrived to a hearing a few days ago. She gives the attorney an invoice and then tells him if he doesn't reconsider what hes doing she will place a lien on his house.

The attorney says "I want to go on vacation this summer and not have to deal with this" and postpones the foreclosure hearing indefinitely. It seems clear all that happened is the attorney realized he was dealing with a insane defendant and decided to delay because he didn't want to deal with it right now. But this is being trumpeted as an absolute win by the OPPT idiots. I look forward to the interview in the fall when Kim is summoned to the next hearing and her house is foreclosed upon while she furiously tries to send everyone involved more courtesy notices.

I have to ask . . . What do you all think Heather gets out of this? This scheme of hers doesn't seem to come with big rewards for her. The documents are posted for free. Project 13 or whatever it is called seems to be free, at least initially. And as far as I can tell there really hasn't been an ask for money except to fly her gurus to Morrocco. So where is the catch? Are the faithful sending money? And what is Heather doing in Morrocco and how is she supporting herself? Thoughts, insights?

Moroccan Treasures at 906 Broadway just opened in February this year but already the new business is having a significant impact on the city. With owners Youssef Jarraf’s and Heather Tucci-Jarraf’s intimate ties to the country, the two entrepreneurs are working to both build their business and establish a solid partnership between Tacoma and this Northern African nation, the most westernized of the Arab countries.

Walking into Moroccan Treasures is like stepping into an upscale indoor Moroccan marketplace and art gallery. The rich colors, textures and sparkle of the merchandise provide a luxurious feast for the eyes. A stroll around the 4,000-square-foot sales floor takes the customer on a tour of lovingly crafted Middle Eastern finery, every single item handmade by artists who eschew electric tools for hammer and chisel to exercise their extraordinary talents.

Everything sold at Moroccan Treasures is hand picked by Jarraf on his frequent buying excursions. He has developed an eye over the years for the types of goods Americans are interested in and he enjoys looking for these unique items. “I go all over,” he said, from furniture makers’ shops to the desert where he buys fossilized Moroccan-quarried marble.

The variety to browse through seems endless - drapes and fabrics in a rainbow of shimmering colors, tasseled floor pillows, hand-carved chairs, couches and living room tables inlaid with intricate mother of pearl designs, fossilized marble countertops containing remnants of seashells more than 400 million years old, brightly painted mosaic tiles, exotic carpets, painted lampshades and sconces and a large array of personal items like jeweled trinket boxes and polished marble desk accessories.

“Our goal is not to create a warehouse, but a gallery setting to honor the pieces that are in here,” said Tucci-Jarraf. “Some pieces take months to prepare. All the technique and craftsmanship is handed down to each artist and each artist modifies it for their own signature.

“These are historical pieces, and every piece is collectible and most are one of a kind.”

Jarraf said he tries to never buy the same things twice so that he can provide customers with a thorough selection of everything Morocco has to offer. “I like to change so that people can come and see samples of what they make there,” he said.

“We are a Moroccan import store but it’s really more than that,” said Tucci-Jarraf. “We’re a gallery that represents the artists and educates the community on the wonderful handcraftsmanship that they do.”

The couple takes great pride in the ethics by which they work: to treat the artisans with respect and compensate them fairly for their items. This is how the artisans make their living and they oftentimes are taken advantage of by dealers in the Middle East and United States, according to Tucci-Jarraf. “We saw a need for representation of the artists because they usually see only about a five percent profit on what they make,” she said.

The couple is completely devoted to helping build a sound and mutually beneficial business and humanitarian partnership between Tacoma and Morocco. Jarraf was born in Casablanca then moved to Florence, Italy, where he met Heather while she was there on business. The two married and decided to anchor their business in Tacoma where Tucci-Jarraf was born and raised.

Tucci-Jarraf is chair of the committee that succeeded in winning the Tacoma City Council’s unanimous vote last month to make El Jadida, Morocco, Tacoma’s 11th Sister City. “I’m very excited and honored to be part of that,” she said. “Historically speaking, Tacoma has done wonders with the Asian world and bringing in those contacts and ties and creating a strong port for the United States. But we didn’t have any ties with the Arabic world. It’s a world we haven’t explored much as a city.

“With the connections that Youssef and I have with the Arabic world and in Italy we felt that was something we could contribute to Tacoma.”

In 2004 the United States signed a free trade agreement with Morocco, “the best free trade agreement between the U.S. and any country,” Tucci-Jarraf observed. She said Morocco’s position between the United States and Europe could open up a wealth of trade opportunities for American companies.

“We hope to build more awareness and knowledge of the capabilities in Morocco for the West Coast and position Tacoma for the center of that point.” She said discussions on how to do this are ongoing with the Moroccan government. “We have a number of dignitaries coming next year.” She noted that she also looks forward to seeing Morocco and all of Tacoma’s Sister Cities showcased during Tall Ships next summer.

“I’m really proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish here,” said Tucci-Jarraf. “We always get great reactions from people who walk through the door because it really is like you’re transported to another country. I think we’ve captured it.

“We have a lot of future plans for this place. The possibilities abound.”

The only reference I could find to her was with the trucking company the other two are involved with, and it sounds more like a one man fly by night operation than anything else.
