Are you saying that Ron Paul serves as a convenient chew toy to keep stupid puppies occupied so they don't roll in the garbage? -grixit

Wow, that combination of illiteracy and incoherence would give even David Merrill a headache.

No, Van Pelt would simply tap into it.

Does this remind anyone else of Carson's old character Floyd R. Turbo?
Absolutely! What a pathetic character he is. Not only is he in the process of making an ass of himself, thanks to the Internet he is proceeding to make the entire world aware of the fact.

I think Basil is Harvester, or his identical twin.

Maybe it's just me. But I believe that if you claim to be "HONEST AND SMART", you shouldn't use words like "immumed" and "violents".

I'm old enough to recall the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon that ends with Bullwinkle saying "I like violence, because they smell nice."

Glen Beck and co. were mocking him this morning. Apparently he was on Jimmy Kimmil recently talking about guns would be mandatory under his administration and he'd fine anyone who didn't have one $100. He sounds like a winner.

I am not so sure he can legally own firearms under Tennessee State Law. There was a discussion about this several weeks ago on a gun forum. An attorney who specializes in Firearms law said that because TN places restrictions on the types of guns a convicted felon can own Federal law restricts them from owning any guns.

Marceaux was indicted by a grand jury in Van Buren county. Which is one of the smallest counties in the state so all crimes might go through the grand jury, I am not sure, but he appealed it at least to the court of Criminal Appeals, which is aweful silly for a misdemeanor which would have been a general sessions case (I think). If that's right, and criminal mirrors civil in this case, he would have to appeal through one other courts befor TENN CRIM APP. The office I work at cannot handle criminal so I don't know all the ins and outs.

Ok, he's not in the felon database, that means little.

According to :http://www.tba2.org/tba_files/TCCA/2005 ... 112105.pdf
On April 12, 2002, the Petitioner was cited for driving seventy-seven miles per hour in a
fifty-five miles per hour zone, operation of an unregistered vehicle, and failure to provide proof of insurance. The grand jurors of Van Buren County indicted the Petitioner for these three offenses. The Petitioner proceeded pro se, and he filed a motion to suppress all the evidence found by the State trooper as fruit of the poisonous tree based upon an illegal stop. The Petitioner’s trial was held on September 10, 2004, and a jury found him guilty of all three offenses.
According to:http://cjuscriminal.hamiltontn.gov/AppF ... endar.aspx

he has an extensive history, but no felonies I can see.

Looks like good old Basil got 3500 Votes for Governor and 655 for the 3rd district.
