That's not fair, he's an attorney he did not committ fraud, only made some minor misrepresentations that resulted in some small errors.

Amidst the news about Angelo Mozilo's $62.5M settlement something is not being mentioned:
BofA is paying his legal fees and $20M of the settlement amount. They're also paying $5M of Sambol's $5.52M.
Given that Mozilo made hundreds of millions of dollars in the Countrywide scheme, is there any wonder why this kind of thing will never end?

Oh it sure does pay, just ask a FED owner. Unfortunately for the bankers though, their scheme is collapsing. So no JRB, it will end. It is ending now. Although it appears you're not too happy about it.

Lorne, you're like the young kid someone brings to a fly-fishing stream; every time someone catches something the child gets excited and has all kinds of suggestions.
He has no idea how the successful fisherman caught the fish; he's never seen the fly, is completely clueless as to technique or even equipment, let alone how to spot a position that would offer an opportunity. But someone caught a fish and after all, catching a fish is the idea, so there's a fundamentally ignorant leap to "let's fish over there!"
It's not going to end. The experienced fishermen will continue to catch more than their share and the really influential ones will make sure regulators don't mess with the stream or their methods.
The Fed only controls the dam; they have nothing to do with how the water is used way downstream.

As someone residing a world away from the US and therefore only a casual observer of all things 'Lorne" related, I gotta say that he and his fellows provide countless hours of amusement (and amazement)Judge Roy wrote:Lorne, you're like the young kid someone brings to a fly-fishing stream; every time someone catches something the child gets excited and has all kinds of suggestions.
In fact, I can't remember laughing so much and so heartily since, since, since...........well, since way back when I saw "Flying High" and "The Life of Brian" for the first time.
Even without a first hand knowledge of the main players in the various "movements" involved, I never cease to be absolutely ROFL stunned by what I read.
Carry on, lads.
Your blood's worth bottling.
