Merry Christmas, Everyone.

I'm not religious, but that really does about say it all.

Merry Christmas. May you spend it in health with the ones you love.

Whatever your religious proclivities are, it's a great excuse to finally take a few days to enjoy the company of family and friends.

No; on Christmas -- everybody. That includes right-wing subhumans; and that also means David Merrill, Harvester, lorne, Ed: Brown, Springer, and the rest.

Suit yourself; but I like to put away the guns for at least one day a year. I figure the people I don't like need the Christmas spirit a lot more than the others....

A belated Happy Feast of the Nativity! (might as well go all out religious).

Happy New Year to my favorite group of internet friends!

Remember: New Year's celebrations start at Midnight, International Date Line time.

Proper celebration mandates consuming (at least) one beverage from the appropriate time zone every hour for the next twenty-four.

Beverage suggestions (associated with the relevant time zone) are welcomed.

For the Eastern Time Zone: either Haverhill Brewery's Leatherlips IPA, Samuel Adams's Latitude 48 IPA, or Wachusett Brewery's Nut Brown Ale. If you're more inclined to wine, some ice wine or ice cider from Ontario or Quebec will do just fine.

Unfortunately, the Eastern zone also contains Kentucky and all that lovely Bourbon.

Perhaps we should extend the challenge to -- for each time zone -- one EACH of distilled, brewed, and fermented?
