And since I'm procrastinating on a project I really don't want to do...
Which of the following items is not true about Randy Weaver?
1) He was a member of the Aryan Nations
2) He had a sign up on his Idaho property that read "White Power is Supreme"
3) He considers himself a white separatist but not a racist
4) He used to sell Amway

I was guessing that 4 was a lure, and that the real false answer was 3.Demosthenes wrote:Weaver was indeed an Amway distributor. Just like serial killer Paul Bernardo, US Senator John Ensign, and former Sec of State Alexander Haig.

4 was indeed the lure, but the real answer is 1.
Randy Weaver attended a couple of Aryan Nation picnics / gathering but decided not to join. That's why the feds set him up on the sawed off shotgun charge. They approached him about filing the end off a couple of guns for $300. Sawed off shotguns are illegal unless a stamp tax is paid.
He did it, and they offered him a deal: infiltrate the Aryan Nations for us or we'll press charges. Weaver said no. The rest is history.
After the Ruby Ridge mess, a jury found Weaver not guilty on the gun charges.
