To ProfHenryHiggins, a journalist, and wserra, an attorney for taking the time to post and document a plethora of practical, reliable, and factual information regarding the highly illegal practice of (internet craze) ‘cash gifting’. Many of these outfits submerge their true nature in benevolence, charity, religion, kindness, sharing, etc., but the fact of the matter is that people have and will get hurt emotionally, financially, and legally if they choose to participate. Several of the promotions are very slick and I’ll assume many honest, common folk have been duped. Once again, thanks gentlemen, for the great information. The good information seems to be harder to find than all the cheerleading supporting this crime. Keep up the great work! Always be safe and prosperous.

"Cash gifting" never ceases to amaze me. If any common ruse is a completely obvious ponzi, "cash gifting" is it. Lots of MLMs pretend to have "products" which are in fact thin disguises for endless recruiting chains. Since an MLM with an actual product from which it derives its revenues is a legal entity - ripoff, but legal - frequently analysis is required to see whether the "product" is really just a smokescreen. Hence the discussion about the percentage of sales to non-distributors, distributor turnover, required "frontloading", autoships and so forth.

But the theory of "cash gifting" is that there is only one source for the money - recruiting new members. There is no view of "cash gifting" by which it is not a ponzi. The only explanation for someone of IQ above room temperature joining one is greed - legalities completely aside.
