Lost Horizons has a facebook page

Pete has started a Lost Horizons facebook page. Its relationship status is "It's complicated".

Wow! Do you think Pete will approve "friend" requests from Quatloosians?

Ok, looked at a testimonial posted there by our favorite sycophant, Patrick Mooney. Did you know that the IRS relies on "...magic, fear and superstition" to administer the tax system in this country? According to Mooney, that is exactly what the IRS does! All this time I though they relied on the IRC statutes and regulation, but apparently that is all smoke and mirrors. If you go by the video, one would get the impression that the IRS summons up undead, werewolves, witches, and even Frankenstein in order to assess and collect taxes.

Now they have a dedicated place to put videos of themselves admitting that they committed a criminal act.

I posted a comment to Patrick Mooney's video, citing his losses in court, and a general comment linking to the Hendrickson dossier at http://tpgurus.wikidot.com/peter-hendrickson.

We'll see what happens next. I think that Hendrickson is going to be surprised that he can ban people from FB the way he can ban them from LH.

Oh, and I checked out the people in the other videos, Forest Anderson, Rod Schmidt, and Eric something. The first two have refunds posted on LH, but no court history that I can find. Eric something is so far untraceable.

There's a picture of John Bulten, and my recollection is that he got burned, but don't have sufficient records/recollections right now.

And yet Facebook still doesn't have a "Dislike" or "Meh" button.

IMHO, promoting a fraudulent and/or criminal enterprise via Facebook would violate the terms of use.

The company has enough trouble already.

Someone needs to make them aware of their possible complicity.

Imagine that!!!! I would imagine that promoting a criminal enterprise could be considered a TOS violation, since we certainly couldn't use violations of taste, as that would be redundant considering who we are dealing with.

Considering that FB was one of the few big name IPO's that had a negative result, yeah, and their figures continue to implode the last time I paid any attention to it. I haven't seen anything like this since the bad old days of the Penny Market. And the usual result of a lot of those was that several somebodies eventually went to jail, kind of looks like we could see a repeat here before it is all over and done with. At least on first blush, it looks like their accounting people give a whole new meaning to the term "overstated earnings".

He can't ban people from Facebook but he can remove unwanted comments from posts on his page, or restrict who can comment. He can't stop you from creating another Facebook page dedicated to exposing his scam either.

(And JRB may be correct about their terms of service, but good luck getting Facebook's attention unless there is something really egregious on the page like child porn.)

That seems to be correct, because my comments no longer appear on the LH FB page.

Good job.

If this keeps up, I might have to join Facebook.

Although .... (and I guess I'm showing my age, here)..... I really don't "get" Facebook. I mean, I just don't see the attraction that so many people have to Facebook.

For me, Facebook is like an ongoing neighborhood and college reunion; and I block every game that comes my way.

I'm down with that. Life is too short for apps and stupid games. But it sure works to keep track of which of my plethora of cousins is getting married, getting divorced, getting thin, graduating, having offspring, etc. I literally couldn't keep up before fb. Now I actually talk to them on a near-daily basis, but without using hours, just minutes.
