A Canadian Sovereign gets bailed out by his mom

Post by Burnaby49 »

The usual antics. He isn't the Daniel Morin convicted of not filing tax returns, he is Daniel : Morin who just happens to share a lot in common with the convicted individual such as his home address (where he lived alone), birthday, etc. Also he isn't a person, and therefore not taxable, because;

[13] Mr. Morin further argues that he is not a person as defined in the Income Tax Act of Canada and cannot be the Daniel Morin referred to in the Information.

[14] Mr. Morin argues, for that reason, that he has no obligation to pay income tax to the Government of Canada or to file a federal income tax return.

[15] His position is that one becomes a person when one applies to be one, for example in applying for a social security number. He uses the analogy of applying for a driver's permit.

Kind of reminds me of that guy in the video we recently watched who got tasered by the court guard while mommy stood by giving moral support. Small starts to big careers.

This guy is such a maroon that he talks about applying for a social security number when such a number is not available in Canada (I like the initials for the Canadian equivalent: SIN, for Social Insurance Number).

Clearly, cross-border (or importing, if you will) tax-protesting is very, very confusing.

When you always need another excuse, that one sounds as good as the next.

The 16th Amendment was not properly ratified because it was not first published in French!

Preposterous! To think that the 16th amendment could be ratified in anything other than a base-16 number system is beyond words.

For those curious, here is the 16th, in its final form:

I note mummy will have to bail him out again:
FOR ALL THESE REASONS, the Court:

[20] REJECTS the notice of application of Daniel Morin and Hélène Morin.

[21] GRANTS the Crown motion to dismiss the application of Daniel Morin and Hélène Morin;

[22] WITH COSTS against the applicants, Daniel Morin and Hélène Morin.
So that's $6032 and the other side's legal bill. Victory!
