Brown callers clog 911 lines
By KRISTEN SENZ
Union Leader Correspondent
10 hours, 32 minutes ago

PLAINFIELD – Supporters of convicted tax protesters Ed and Elaine Brown reported online and in radio broadcasts that multiple semi-automatic gunshots were fired in the woods behind the couple's Plainfield home late Saturday night.

About 60 calls coming from all over the country clogged emergency telephone lines at Hanover dispatch until around 6:30 a.m. yesterday, Plainfield Police Chief Gordon Gillens said. A second dispatcher came in to help handle the call volume.

"They totally disrupted emergency services by putting all that stuff on the Internet and giving out all these phone numbers to call," Gillens said.

Brown supporters also claimed someone had been physically shaking the trailer that houses Jim Hobbs, who is staying on the Browns' property, and theorized that federal agents were trying to provoke a violent clash, according to posts on the Browns' blog.

U.S. Marshal Steve Monier said yesterday that no law enforcement officers were at the Browns' residence over the weekend.

"I don't know anything about it," Monier said. "It's not us, we're not there."

Monier has repeatedly said he wants to avoid a violent confrontation with the Browns and resolve the situation peacefully.

Plainfield residents living near the Browns said there were no disturbances Saturday night, Gillens said.

"It's a complete fabrication," he said. "There was absolutely no report from anyone up there that there were fireworks or firearms or anything like that." Plainfield police are investigating whether the disruption at the dispatch center amounted to a criminal act.

The Browns assert that federal income taxes are unlawful and part of a Freemason plot to control the masses. They were convicted in January of felony tax evasion and sentenced to more than five years in prison in April.

They have remained at their home since then, avoiding capture, and vow to defend themselves with deadly force if federal agents try to apprehend them.

On the Browns' blog, http://www.questforfairtrialinconcordnh.com, supporters said they heard between 30 and 40 rounds fired behind the house around midnight Saturday. In a pod cast of a radio interview posted on the site, Brown supporter Danny Riley, 39, said everyone at the Center of Town Road residence was on high alert until dawn.

"Everybody heard the gunshots," he said. "Nobody's hunting at 12 midnight in the back of the woods, you know?"

Riley said supporters at the house were positioned at "battle stations," including one supporter using night-vision goggles to scan the woods from inside a lookout tower.

"This is it. This is it," Riley said during the interview, breathing heavily. "This is the beginning. Enough is enough." Riley said he's prepared to die for the Browns' cause. "I don't know what else to say. I'm lost for words. I'm sweating bullets. I'm wrapped in bulletproof vests, I've got helmets on, and I'm sweating bullets. I've got a guy in the tower. We're ready to go."

Web posts on various sites urged supporters to call local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies and "Tell them the world is watching!"

Monier said he had no contact with the Browns over the weekend and that his office was not conducting surveillance at their house.

"There's no presence from the marshal's office or any other law enforcement agency up there, other than routine patrols by the Plainfield Police Department," he said. "I don't know what they're talking about."

YOUR COMMENTS

The voices of UnionLeader.com readers:

Those people in the Brown's "camp" are delusional idiots. When they are ignored by Police and the public they whine and cry about being attacked and do their best to create some dramatic lunacy about being "picked on". I wish they'd be attacked by common sense but that's a waste of a wish. That's somethin neither the Brown's nor their "supporters" have. It would be nice if the outsiders who pander to the Brown's need to appear as victims would go back where they came from. New Hampshire does NOT need them.

Listened to the "testimony" of Jim (as filmed by Danny Riley), and the "evidence" seemed rather thin. Danny made statements like, "crackling noises like limbs moving, or someone crawling on their belly through leaves."

It must have been eerily silent overnight to have heard the "crackling of leaves" as someone crawled through the brush on their belly. I'm not doubting an event took place just questioning the reporting of it.

It sounds to me like Danny Riley is either a nervous-nellie, or he's being used to stir up sympathy. One other report suggested they had been used unwillingly to "cry wolf."

Was also interested in the Fred Smart audio blogs. Ed Brown tried to get RBN to broadcast the event as "breaking news," but they refused to interrupt a commercial. I find that amusing.

The event is being looked at as a "test" for the real thing. Labor Day weekend is another gathering (as Demo has posted), but they don't know what might happen in the interim.

The video and audio is on:

I couldn't get the Danny Riley "Red Alert" to play through.

The federal agent were reported to be dressed as drunken students from a local technical college.
"I don't know anything about it," Monier said. "It's not us, we're not there."
Denial is the first part of guilt.
The Browns assert that federal income taxes are unlawful and part of a Freemason plot to control the masses.
I really want to follow that logic trail! Oh a link is so needed!
On the Browns' blog, http://www.questforfairtrialinconcordnh.com, supporters said they heard between 30 and 40 rounds fired behind the house around midnight
Not only that immediately before the incident a federal raccoon-psyops-robot was spotted in the trash pile near a boobytrap alarm loaded with ladyfingers style pyrotecnics.
"Everybody heard the gunshots," he said. "Nobody's hunting at 12 midnight in the back of the woods, you know?"
Because every hunter I know needs to shoot 30-40 rounds in braod daylight. (Insert Dick Cheney joke.)
Riley said supporters at the house were positioned at "battle stations," including one supporter using night-vision goggles to scan the woods from inside a lookout tower.

Cap'n Brown: "Red Alert: Battle Stations, Sci-unce officer report on what you see with long range scanners."
Sciunce officer: "Blackwater is everywhere. Psyops raccoon is missing. Recommend we secure the perimeter"
Meanwhile armor specialist Troy Hurtubise denies any involvement in designing Riley's protectivewear.

I was going to confess that I was coon hunting in the woods in Plainfield, but I don't want to admit that I had to fire 30-40 shots to get a treed coon. :(

BTW, if you want to up the ante, about five minutes after the gunshots, drop a few magnesium flares. For older style (and not ungodly expensive) style night vision, bad things will happen.

After a couple weeks or rattling their chains, Ed and Elaine will beg to surrender.

Now from Bantam Books, from the author of the bestselling thriller, "Codename: Dogwalker", come the next chapter in this exciting adventure series, "Dogwalker: Nightwatch".

From the back cover:

Shots Fired! Shots Fired! As the patriot fighters scrambled to respond, Dogwalker knew what he had to do. Desperately he sprinted for the makeshift sudio in the rear bathroom. He slid into the seat, already feeling his pulse pounding in his ears. He hit the button on the camera, then paused for a second to let the rising wave of hysteria overwhelm him. Then he let loose with his message to the world. "We've got gunshots in the compound! This is it people! Oh my God, we've got troops with foreign markings coming over hte walls! They're shooting nerve gas through the windows! I just saw a black UFO hovering over the trees! Everbody-- call 911 now! Call the papers, the tv stations, call your Aunt Beatrice! Call everybody and tell them that freedom is being massacred over here at the Browns!

--- That's just a small taste of this absorbing book. The non stop intensity will suck you in and not let you go until you reach the last page. Don't be surprised if you find yourself huddled in your basement wearing camouflaged pajamas and a foil helmet.

Buy it today, before They do!

Hadn't seen this earlier. A recording could also be the source of the "crackling" noises heard by Dogwalker. It would explain why they might be louder than normal.

Feds/Marshals /Police/Blackwater/Guns for hire/Main Media

For all of you who have decided to take part against your constition oath YOU sworn too and act outside the law. There will come a time when you will be held accountable for your unlawful actions!

You clowns are in a real pickel!
Why?, because the Browns were found guilty of a so-called law that is not even in any law book! And you want to kill everyone just because your boss tells you too?! The Browns were and still are more then willing to pay any fees due as they have ALL other lawful taxes IF the law can be shown. Do you understand?! Show US the law!

The other night, a hail of gunfire came from the woods. Vehicles from Blackwater USA, a private military company and security firm, were spotted around Browns land via satellite from one of the many watching you clowns!

THE WORLD IS WATCHING YOU!

Taken from a.Unionleader article:
Plainfield Police Chief Gordon Gillens said, "It's a complete fabrication," and "Those people in the Brown's "camp" are delusional idiots. When they are ignored by Police and the public they whine and cry about being attacked and do their best to create some dramatic lunacy about being "picked on". I wish they'd be attacked by common sense but that's a waste of a wish. That's somethin neither the Brown's nor their "supporters" have.

Truth of the matter is, supporting neighbors DID report they heard shots also! There are multiple eyewitness accounts regarding the activity that went on at 401 Center of Town Road, in Plainfield. Charges Need To Be Filed Against Local Police and WMUR For False Reporting!

Killing people over a law which can not even be shown is wrong no matter what "authority" you think you may have!

Its time for EVERYONE to wake up!

It's like watching an 8th grader plan a war.
OLD BUCK Date: Jul 28, 2007 7:06 PM Tonight I had a long conversation with Ed. the subject of our conversation was the announcement by the Marshall Service that "they were going to rachet it up shortly to move the Browns along" and that they were "investigating all Brown supporters" Ed asks that all supporters "Rachet up Civil Disobedience" to "move the Feds along", " move Congress along" move your local city ,town and county governments along " "we need to let these scumbags know who they work for" Ed made suggestions such as the old "10 lb bag of shit on the front door step" "super glue in car door locks", "picket government buildings", "flags upside down on the lawns of goverment buildings from police depts to Courthouses", "freeway blogging or whatever", "use your imagination" " Yahweh's Name in it's original hebrew script frightens them" ," it should start appearing nationwide everywhere" we need to get this message to the graffiti artists" "I want this everywhere", "Ratchet it up so we can start the process of taking our country back, and putting it back under the rule of law form these criminals". Thats the message friends let me know if these things start happning in your area and I'll pass it on to Ed.please repost far and wide

Just like our Founding Fathers did in the 1700s......(except for the super glue cause they didn't have that yet)

"we need to let these scumbags know who they work for"
Yes, they work for the American people. And the American people, in the majority, think you need to turn your ass in.
"10 lb bag of sh*t on the front door step"
Yes, Ed. Why don't you sit on the US Marshal's doorstep. I'm sure that'll really get their goat.
"super glue in car door locks"
I like that idea. E&E's supporters might actually be stupid enough to accidentally superglue themselves to the car. It would save law enforcement a lot of time in tracking down and arresting the culprits.
"picket government buildings", "flags upside down on the lawns of goverment buildings from police depts to Courthouses", "freeway blogging or whatever"
Wow, acceptable protests! (Except for the flag upside down...that offends a lot of people).
" Yahweh's Name in it's original hebrew script frightens them"
I don't think that's fear. I think it's anger over having to repaint something.

I once had a guy shine a halogen flashlight in my face while I was wearing AN/PVS-5s. I wanted to claw my eyes out.
