The woodpeckers are the quatloosians and other critics, who expose the rotten and diseased interior of our bogus legal structure. Bad woodpeckers, go away!

Tim Turner not only went through his trial and his sentencing calling himself the President, he entered prison and to this day calls himself the President. No 25th Amendment for him! His fixation on holding the office probably worked against him with regard to sentencing and prison assignment. And the movement indulges him in this.

My take is that the courts just took it as his being really unrepentant of his prior behavior, not that he was bedbug crazy, and treated him, sentencewise accordingly, and will probably continue treating him accordingly. I suspect that in time it will become a monomania with him and he really will be crazy by that point, but that is probably far off down the road.

I don't recall this being mentioned, but in August the sentence for President Jimmy Timmy was slightly reduced. His conviction for passing fictitious financial instruments would ordinarily be calibrated by the amount of money he had been trying to defraud but since his phony bonds were set in the millions of dollars a sentence by strict calculation would have been StarTrek time - well beyond a life sentence. So the court, describing his monetary ambitions as fantasies, dialed his prison sentence back to 18 years, so he might be released at age 75.

A kindness I suspect they will regret when he gets started on his next scam.
