I was just informed of yet another prison interview with Kent Hovind that was used in a movie:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI4YlBfKUSU

It does make me wonder all the more about whether such interviews have been properly approved and that broadcast of such interviews was also approved.

Well, since we are talking about Kent Hovind, that well known upstanding member and role model for the community, with his well developed ego and sense of ethics, I would suspect not!!!!

I quickly went through that video and found clips of the recorded telephone interview with Kent at the following time marks:

Time:

0:34:10ff
0:55:39ff

1:35:40ff

I posted a note to the "After The Tribulation" FaceBook page about what approval, if any, they had to record and broadcast the Hovind clips, but that message, which was posted, has since been deleted. A private FaceBook message to the same page has not been given a response.

Part 2 of the Hovind interview has posted to:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4obZ0z2 ... e=youtu.be

No details regarding his legal matters.

Gea indicated she's looking forward to more such interviews; perhaps as early as this Monday.

HMMM!
I'm still wondering about the propriety of all of that!

From: Gea Ambrosia
Date: Sunday, February 2, 2014
Time: About 5:05 PM MT

I (Gea Ambrosia) can record whatever I want.
It's my call.
I have the right to record conversations if I want too.

If Dr. Hovind doesn't want to know He is being recorded I respect that.

I want to protect Him from everyone like YOU that's out to get Him!

He (Kent Hovind) told Me the rules and how I could get around them but as you can see we have never used any code words.

He calls and I start recording when I feel like it.

U MUST REMEMBER THE LETTERS HE SENDS ME ARE READ BY BOP BEFORE I GET THEM.

They are well aware of all of Dr. Hovind's communications!

Gea has since deleted that important exchange from that FaceBook page of hers, though it is preserved elsewhere.

She and her people seem not to have taken kindly to being questioned about that and the whole subject of Hovind's criminal career.

Last night she posted this rant which includes a little insight into her own "tax denier" sympathies with Hovind (in the first 7 minutes), some personal attacks, and many other personal perspectives on the state of things:

Kent Hovind's Anonymous Banker Appears???

Post by Paths of the Sea »

Kent Hovind's Anonymous "Banker"!

Has Kent Hovind's anonymous "banker" made his appearance on Forbes in defense of Kent?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterjreill ... nt-hovind/

Page 6 of readers' comments following above article:

From: Keith Ransom
Date: Tuesday, February 4, 2014
Time: About 12:00 Noon MT

I’m sorry I really don’t trust the IRS in this matter.

I have worked in the banking industry for about 18 years.

The entire ” structuring ” law was created to stop terrorists from funneling untraceable money through banks. It had an additional purpose to stop drug cartels from money laundering.

I remember taking the classes concerning this online. Each employee had to pass a money laundering certification.

The intent of the law was to go after organized crime – which it appears the government is saying that by paying employees in cash (which is legal) he didn’t fill out the proper bank required forms (technically illegal).

They obviously couldn’t prove he was a terrorist, or part of organized crime syndicate. So the next step is to claim he knowingly withdraw cash without properly filing paperwork to state the purpose of the withdrawal.

The obvious purpose of the withdrawal is to pay employees…However the case brought by the government was flimsy and makes me think there was some type of conspiracy related to the way the IRS is going after conservative groups!!!

--------------------------------------------------

Compare that to the anonymous inmate claiming to be a banker that wrote a letter for Kent and also claimed to have 18 years experience in the banking industry:

Gea Ambrosia's and Kent Hovind's plotting to clandestinely record and broadcast interviews goes underground:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6hh7uefyMs

Kent Hovind wrote to Gea Ambrosia
(as read by Gea from his letter to Gea)
Time Mark: 08:45ff

- I (Kent Hovind) can not know you
- (Gea Ambrosia) are recording the call.
-
- But if you give me a good time and
- you have a tape recorder ready you
- can say something about a parrot
- and that will be the key that you
- are ready to record.

I just checked and that link got me a notice that the video has gone underground and is no longer publicly available.

Today's Interview With Kent Hovind!

Post by Paths of the Sea »

From today's interview of Kent Hovind we get the following view of his release options (he also discusses shortly after the following his plans for a 1,000 acre Dinosaur Adventure Land to be purchased with the proceeds of his settlement with the feds for false imprisonment).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvtkYWkL ... e=youtu.be

Time: 0:01:00 - 0:02:11

We filed a lawsuit here in New Hampshire.

The BoP passed a law back in 2007, or the Congress
passed a law in 2007 called the Second Chance Act
saying they are allowed to give up to 6 months home
confinement AND 6 months halfway house.

And there is a couple of halfway houses right in
Pensacola.

What happens is you go to the halfway house, it's
kinda like a, I don't know, a home but there are 8
or 10 or 20 or 30 guys there, that live there until
they find a job.

Then you have to pay 25% of your paycheck to these
folks.

So, after they get a few paychecks typically they just
let you move on home, but you have to keep paying
them for the whole 6 months.

Then they rent the bed out to somebody else.

So, they have 5, 6, 7 guys all paying for one bed but
have gone home already.

It's a money making scam.

The law says they have to give you 6 months and of
course they don't want to have to do that because
their budget here is based upon body count.

We'll see if the Court can explain to them; "Look,
let him go home".

(end excerpt of Hovind interview)

The New Hampshire case has been docketed and in Kent's conclusion of his Write of Habeas Corpus he pleads:

"Wherefore, the Petitioner asks this Honorable Court
to GRANT this Writ of Habeas Corpus and ORDER the
BOP in good faith to consider Petitioner on an
individualize basis using the five factors set forth in
18 U.S.C. § 3621 (b) plus take into account the language
in 18 U.S.C. § 3624 (c) (6) (C) granting him the maximum
amount of time in the RRC to provide the "greatest
likelihood of successful reintegration into the community."
§ 3624 (c) (6) (C)."

I get that the reason the BoP declined to give Kent the extra 6 months was because he had such a good thing going in Pensacola that he didn't need the extra time to acclimate himself back in to society.

Maury Enthusiast!

I see Kent has finally slipped over the very fine edge he has been pretending to walk the last few years, and is now thoroughly in cloud cuckoo land, building pretend 1,000 acre dino land parks that will never happen, because he will never win any kind of false imprisonment suit.

I am wondering who this "WE" is that filed the suit, could get entertaining there.

Kent, it would seem is again confused about a number of things, from what I have been able to find on "Second Chance" it is geared towards certain types of Federal inmates who are considered to be potential returnees, which I'll admit Kent is, but for entirely different reasons, because they have no viable life skills, and in to getting them some. As far as I can see, Kent doesn't/wouldn't qualify. The other point, is that it is not an absolute, it is a "MAY" situation, as MAY qualify, or MAY be slotted in to the program, not that they WILL be.

Can't wait to see the official rebuttal of his latest flight in to fantasy.

Kent is very secretive about what he calls his "dream team".

While legally allowable, it is a little funny to see Kent proceed "pro se" while publicly he claims to have this crack legal team preparing documents for his signature an filing with the courts.

Now he's got a girl in Canada that is enthralled with him, sending him money, and willing to cooperate in helping him get his word out. They appear to make a good match, but I don't know how much Jo knows about what is going on there.

I am a little anxious to see how that case is disposed of as well.

I can't see it gaining any traction.

The BoP did what they were supposed to do and denied the extra 6 months to Kent. He's apparently pretty much guaranteed 6 months, but he was going for the 12 months of early release.

The BoP exercised discretion quite reasonably in denying Kent the second 6 months of early release; because he doesn't need the extra time to get used to life in the community. He's such a good boy and has all those business and family ties in the community.

"We" are also still waiting to see how the "criminal contempt" problem is resolved which is based on his antics to thwart the Government's selling of his various forfeited properties. The Government argued that the only thing that would impress upon Kent the seriousness of his problems with that is more jail time.

My personal bet is that it was his bunky who helped him write this latest piece of drivel.

Also, considering Kent's track record, I wouldn't bet on him getting out early to begin with, and they still haven't concluded the contempt charges yet, an d that could/should be a game changer.

I also don't believe he fits the requirements for "Second Chance" as he doesn't really qualify to their definition of a possible recidivist. Not that he won't, but that he just doesn't meet the definition that they are relying on, and he is once again trying to work the system.

I, however, have sufficient faith in his ongoing ability to further shoot himself in the foot before his time is up.

It's a fill-in-the-blanks writ. These things crop up from time to time, filed by half the inmates at a particular institution en masse. "Legal team on crack" is far more accurate than "crack legal team".

Hovind also filed with neither the filing fee nor an in forma pauperis application. He has until April 7 to do one or the other, or the case will be dismissed on that ground. An IFP application requires a financial affidavit.

One of the attachments to Kent's writ!

REQUEST FOR ADMINISTRATIVE REMEDY
Part B - Response

Name: HOVIND. Kent E.
Admin. Remedy Case Number: 754923-Fl
Reg. No.: 06452-017
Unit: G Unit

(excerpts)

This is in response to your Request for Administrative Remedy,
dated October 2, 2013, in which you request consideration for
six months of Residential Reentry Center (RRC) placement in
addition to six months of Home Detention placement.

Records reflect that you were reviewed in accordance with the
Second Chance Act of 2007 on October IS, 2013, and recommended
for six months of Home Detention placement to begin on your
Home Detention Eligibility date of February 11, 2015.

The Unit Team noted your strong family ties, lack of substantial
transitional needs, and overall low risk assessment as the
rationale for the recommendation.

The Unit Team believes this placement is of sufficient duration
and will provide the greatest likelihood of successful reintegration.

Accordingly, your Request for Administrative Remedy is denied.

Sounds to me like the Warden determined that Kent didn't meet the requirements for extended stay in the program, or for the program at all when it comes right down to it, and it does not appear at least from what was posted that Kent has exhausted all the administrative options yet, so his court filing may well come back as untimely.

Kent never has been good at reading and following directions, or assuming that they actually apply to him specifically.

Directions are for other people.
Kent fancies himself as the director.

I think it kinda interesting how Kent keeps making pleas to the various courts about his pro se status and the need for extra consideration that pro se litigants are typically entitled instead of letting the courts know that he's got a "legal team on crack", a "team dreamin'", that helps him with all of his filings.

As for the NH suit, I agree it will probably go nowhere, but that's OK with Kent, I figure. When Kent gets around to it, as has already begun, he will cite it as another example of how he took on the establishment and in fine "sovrun" style created as much paperwork as he could for "the man" that dared to pick a fight with him.

Seriously? A new thread on this idiot every time he opens his mouth?

The last 10 threads on this clown could easily have been one ongoing thread of less than 5 pages. He's been convicted. He's incarcerated. He's lost his property. That he still babbles gibberish at a high frequency is obviously just not that interesting to most of the board.

In fact, if someone who wants information on Hovind finds this board in a search, they probably would have a far easier time getting whatever facts are here reading a single thread instead of a mass of mostly low-or-no-response threads.
