Does that mean that Monier and the rest of the US Marshals are invited?

Everyone is invited, even the feds again.
Everyone, of course, doesn't mean everyone... Ed had armed guards at the end of the driveway at the last concert to make sure that no press made it through.

Someone should go up there with some homemade potato salad spiked with valium, replace all their guns with water pistols, and then call the Marshals to come and git 'em.

Spiked with acid would be even better.

I'd pay to see those numbnuts on a 500-microgram "show me the law" trip.

Party at Ed's

He stopped off in Tushka
At that Pop Knife and Gun place
And bought an SKS rifle
And a couple full cases
Of that steel-core ammo
With the Berdan primers
From some East Bloc nation
That no longer needs 'em
And a Desert Eagle
That's one great big ol' pistol
I mean .50 caliber
Made by badass Hebrews
And some surplus tracers
For that old B.A.R. of Slayton's
Soon as it gets dark
We're gonna have us a time

Maybe Elf and the Evil Squirrel Overlords could play there. What the hell, he's played dives filled with broken-down weirdos before, and he's one helluva lot better than any of the bands who played their last "concert". My only real concern is that Ed might notice he wears a size 14 shoe and like him a little bit too much, if you know what I mean.

Image

Here are a few song suggestions out of tunes he already knows how to play:

All Along The Watchtower (Jimi Hendrix)
There must be some kind of way out of here
Said the joker to the thief
There's too much confusion
I can't get no relief

No reason to get exited
The thief he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke

Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Pink Floyd)
Come on you target for faraway laughter, come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!

Over Now (Alice In Chains)
Guess it's over now
I seem alive somehow
When it's out of sight
Just wait and do your time

You know it's been on my mind
Could you stand right here
Look me straight in the eye and say
That it's over now

We pay our debt sometime

Heaven Beside You (Alice In Chains)
So there's problems in your life
That's f****d up, but I'm not blind
You're just see-through faded, overrated
And out of your mind

Just Like You (Three Days Grace)
I could be mean
I could be angry
You know I could be just like you

I could be fake
I could be stupid
You know I could be just like you

I could be weak
I could be senseless
You know I could be just like you

You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You’re wrong if you think that I’ll be just like you

Neurotica (Rush)
Fortune is random...Fate shoots from the hip
I know you get crazy, but try not to lose your grip
Life is a diamond you turn into dust
Looking for trust, and I know that you just don't get it
You just don't get it

Snap!
Hide in your shell, let the world go to hell
It's like Russian roulette to you
Snap!
Sweat running cold, you can't face growing old
It's a personal threat to you
Snap!
The world is a cage for your impotent rage
But don't let it get to you
Snap!

Bleed The Freak (Alice In Chains)
These stand for me
Name your god and bleed the freak
I'd like to see
How you all would bleed for me

Flagpole Sitta (Harvey Danger)
Paranoia paranoia
Everybody's coming to get me
Just say you never met me
I'm going underground with the moles
Hear the voices in my head
I swear to God it sounds like they're snoring
But if you're bored then you're boring
The agony and the irony, they're killing me!
I'm not sick but I'm not well
And I'm so hot 'cause I'm in hell

The End (The Doors)
This is the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again

And of course, for the encore:

My Own Prison (Creed)
I cry out to God
Seeking only His decision
Gabriel stands and confirms
I've created my own prison

Other song suggestions, anyone?

It's a result of the genetic splicing. Suddenly, I have urges for Leland. It's odd. He's very far from my type.

As for a song suggestion, might I recommend Crazy by the Barenaked Ladies? The lyrics seem boring compared to your suggestions, but the manic pace of the song makes it one of my favorites.

Crazy
I climb the walls of my mind just like I'm climbing
on the jungle gym.
I am more than content with the
state of mind I am in.
'cause I am crazy just like you.
I am crazy just like you.

I don't think I need a rubber room, but that might be nice.
I'm not a manic depressive paranoid or schizophrenic
so I don't need your advice.

I am crazy just like you.
I am crazy just like you.

The lights are on but nobody's home
my elevator doesn't go to the top
I'm not playing with a full deck I've lost my marbles.
The lights are on but nobody's home
My elevator doesn't go to the top
I'm not playing with a full deck I've lost my marbles.

I'm a few bricks short of a load,
but a full load always hurt my back.
I flew over the cuckoo's nest and
I'm never ever coming back because

I am crazy just like you.
I am crazy just like you.
I am crazy.

Well, i've mentioned it before, but it bears repeating. I give you: the Frickentardistan National Anthem.

Cage of Freedom
Jon Anderson

From the soundtrack to the film "Metropolis"
Music by Giorgio Moroder; lyrics by Pete Bellotte

Cage of freedom
That's our prison
Where the jailer and captive combine
Cage of freedom
Cast in power
All the trappings of our own design
Blind ambition
Steals our reason
We're soon behind those invisible bars
On the inside
Looking outside
To make it safer we double the guard
Cage of freedom
There's no escaping
We fabricated a world of our own....

Cage of freedom, growing smaller
'Til every wall now touches the skin
Cage of freedom, filled with treason
Changing sides as the losses begin
Our suspicion tries escaping
But they step up the security
There's no exit--there's no entrance
Remember how we swallowed the key?
Cage of freedom, that's our prison
We fabricated this world on our own....

Big brother
Is there a bigger one watching you
Or is there one smaller
Who I should be watching too
Infinite circles of
Snakes eating their own tails
For every one chasing
Another is on the trail
Is that a friend
Can you tell, is he on your side?
'Cause I spy with my little eye
Yet another spy... (fadeout)
Three cheers for the Lesser Evil!

FALL FREEDOM FEST

9/15/2007

12 NOON TILL 10PM

@

401 Center of Town RD, Plainfield NH 03781

Come and show your support for Freedom and the stand Ed and Elaine have taken for all of us. We need to stay vigilant and raise awareness to the plight of Ed and Elaine and what they stand for. We need to show the rest of America this is how it is done, by uniting, together, the people can win back their liberties and restore our Republic.

The grill is open to all. We ask you bring your own supplies to keep cost down. Overnight camping is allowed, RVs and trailers are allowed.

There will be live music with

Dave Von Kliest-----rock n roll, folk, ballads

Local Band LILUM-----rock n, roll

Other bands to be announced, if any bands are interested in performing contact danny riley @ articlesofconferation1781@yahoo.com

There is going to be horseshoes, bocce ball and more for games. A raffle of prized articles will be held with all proceeds going to Sherry Jackson in her legal battle with the criminal IRS. Sherry will be doing a live speaker call during the fest for the crowd to hear. During the day there will be guest speakers, such as Randy Weaver, along with Ed and Elaine. We hope to live stream this over the web if costs allow. Hope to see you all there. As more info becomes available it will be added ( last update 8/18).
Sherry Jackson is fighting the IRS? I must have missed that.

Never, ever attend any concert where rock music is described as "rock n, roll".

I wonder if any of the bands will be playing Gene Chapman's songs?

The Sound of Slavery (to the tune of "The Sound of Silence") from Gene's main blog at http://www.genechapman.blogspot.com; I cleaned it up, his version is full of misspellings. He even calls Marx "Mark" at one point. LOL:

Hello darkness my old friend,
Communist aggression's here again.
Tip my hat to those who'd be free,
How's the feel of wind and pee?
There's no love in the mind of Mr. Marx.
...of Mr. Marx.
It's sound of slavery.

The Lady tells us 'it takes a commie village.'
John Lennon imagines a day without God.
There's no virtue in the mind of Mr. Marx
...of Mr. Marx.
It's the sound of slavery.

"The feel of wind and pee" line cracks me up every time.

Or, of course, there is also "Missed The Gist of Jesus' Promised Land", still available online in Gene's own voice.
