Shocking Court Witness.
Literally. The lengths you attorneys go to in order to break a witness on the stand.

Certainly a new approach to jurisprudence.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

No! Judge Roy Bean should be banished from Quatloos, expelled forever into the outer darkness of JREF!LaVidaRoja wrote:JRB and Famspear are both fined 100 Quatloos.
Rhyming Famspear with Fear? and then this;

Limerick/Gimmick?
Famspear might be a sad, helpless, totally out of control limerick addict but he respects the constraits and rules of the craft. He is Don Draper getting drunk in a cocktail lounge in 1958 compared to JRB blowing his weekly sawmill paycheck in the bar of a waterfront dive!

Hmm. Pain meds?
Hope they help - with pain, that is. Feel better.

Good lord, the poetry is supposed to be good?. Well in that case there's no way I'm going to share my exciting tale of the man from Dundalk, it has a half-rhyme and a line that only scans properly if you have a very dirty mind. Personally I think JRB deserves a few quatloos in the tip jar for sharing

My apologies if I came across as a ranting old coot in my last posting. Not that this would be an unfair assessment but I try to be more polite about it. My only excuse, as wserra indicated, is that I'm currently having some issues with meds. I'm trying to cut back from the prescribed amounts of morphine based pain killers and trying to cut out the sleeping pills entirely which is why I was posting at almost 2AM. I'm not a fan of the side-effects of all the medication, mainly stumbling through the day in a disoriented daze.

Having lost most of my hearing at the start of February, I won't have so much trouble with the brass band if we ever manage to meet for lunch again. Hang in there, Burnsie.

Actually any sympathy should go the other way. My problems are essentially trivial but losing your hearing is a big deal. Add on your balance problems and you can't even make it to Harmon's for the Parmesan Garlic Fries. That's something I can empathize with!Cathulhu wrote:Having lost most of my hearing at the start of February, I won't have so much trouble with the brass band if we ever manage to meet for lunch again.
