How the f*ck is that not impersonating a peace officer? Jbrean should forward that to the RCMP or whoever it is that deals with fake cops.Dear Sir,
I am Robert Arthur Menard, a Freeman on the Land and Peace Officer with the Canadian Common Corps of Peace Officers.

It’s classic Menard. Like the ten year old Bobby caught with going through daddy’s sock drawer the only thing the poor boy can think to do is lie.Hilfskreuzer Möwe wrote:Amusingly, Rob is now posting a stream of email exchanges between him and the National Post reporter who had cited analysis that Bourque's beliefs were "freeman-like": http://www.facebook.com/groups/10230158 ... 498721701/

First he pretends authority by claiming to be a peace officer, which he is not.
After arguing for over a decade that Canadian government has none of the powers granted by the Canadian Constitution Menard repeats the lie that he and other freemen are not anti-government, but rather are “pro-good government”.
Then forgeting his constant hate mongering and frequent threats against Canadian law enforcement, he claims he and all his freemen minions treat the police “with respect and dignity”.
Worst of all after, for years, dehumanizing the police and enabling haters of all stripes he tries to blame the police themselves for violence against them. Violence he has subtly encouraged.
Menard is a spineless, manipulative liar who has no trouble at all talking out of both sides of his mouth.

It's easier than that, Bobby is a coward and a liar. Saves all the extra explanation.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

Re: Moncton shooting / Justin Bourque
Despite my reluctance to extend this thread (because Bourque doesn't show any sign yet of being /our/ kind of nutball) interesting reports have come out today that Bourque had at least one like-minded friend, who not only defends his killing spree but has now been charged with threatening to kill police officers last month.
http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/06/09 ... ll-police/
I doubt we will find out the details of the charges anytime soon but it's interesting to see how close Moncton came to having a killer team on the loose rather than just one guy.

VERY interesting read. When do enough coincidences line up to point to an agenda? In the army it is said, Once might be happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action! ~ slightly modified quote from Rob M

Re: Moncton shooting / Justin Bourque
I spent an obnoxious amount of time monitoring this shooting - a full day and half while he was still a fugitive - because the they were concerned about accomplices.
In addition to the Facebook stuff and bad singing on YouTube, I was checking out his friends, his Anonymous networking groups, and his family, and found everything from 2nd Amendment rants and gun porn to Bundy Ranch updates.
I found nothing related to the Freeman movement, but did find a lot of American sovereign-ish stuff - the trappings of the sovereign movement rather than the actual beliefs. I think he found the Canadian pro-gun groups too mild, so he sought out American extremist groups who were obsessed with conspiracy theories and picked up the sov-like ideas there.
The only big concern I had was the live conversation between his Anonymous buddies who actually live in Moncton. Apparently, what set Justin off was the death of his friend Danny Levesque a few months earlier. Danny had pulled a knife on police, they killed him in a struggle. The police investigation ruled that the officers had acted appropriately and made the announcement just a few days before Justin went Rambo.
In the middle of that first night, when Justin had already shot the five officers, his friends were freaking out. One reacted by stripping his facebook connections to Justin. He's the one who worked in the town's only gun store and who has expressed strong support for Cliven Bundy. I'll post a couple of the other reactions in the next message.

Posted a few hours after the shooting. Justin had not yet been arrested.
What the fuck are you guys talking 'bout??
Justin is a freedom fighter!
NO BUSTIN JUSTIN!!!
Hope he gets more pigs down, no disrespect to those peoples all that unhonor to police state and whole goverment what try to keep people under em with orders, with the police with the risk of violence. If you dont follow the law, police can kidnapp you without dignity. If you dont come with them they can beat shit our of you or kill you and they dont get anything from that because polices owners are those who owns law and the people who works under it.
Love for maple syrup fighter and every human kind.

I didn't chase it as actively but did see that the police scanner for the Moncton area had several thousand people listening to it live and Moncton police stopped using radio dispatch, presumably to prevent information from being leaked to Bourque. Not to mention the requests for neighbors to not post information on cop movement on social media.

Here's another reaction from a close friend of Justin's. The speaker lives in Moncton. This was phone a telephone conversation that was aired on YouTube.
“If you really want to think about it, and this could give a lot of hope and inspiration to the activist community, if they’re having this much trouble with one man, imagine what it would be like when the entire activist community stands up against the new world order.”

When they heard that request, a couple of Justin's friends were trying to figure out how to tweet the officers' locations, but gave up because they were everywhere.Jeffrey wrote:I didn't chase it as actively but did see that the police scanner for the Moncton area had several thousand people listening to it live and Moncton police stopped using radio dispatch, presumably to prevent information from being leaked to Bourque. And then there's this, uploaded on June 4th which the day of the shootings. Justin was arrested on the 6th.

Poke around a bit on the IDs of the commenters. Interesting stuff.
And here's a song that had been written when Danny Levesque died.

Danny's mom went off the deepend and has been posting a lot of conspiracy stuff about her son's death, but she's a grieving mom so I cut her some slack.

Re: Moncton shooting / Justin Bourque
Unfortunately, there are amazing similarities in the backgrounds and statements of many of the off-the-deep-end, violent nut cases. This has become much more obvious with the advent of Internet-based (and other) socail networking and communications.
Although some LEO agencies (notably Secret Service with respect to threats agains the President) do follow up on strong leads which materialize via the Internet, the manpower required to adequtely monitor everything would end up looking like Communist East Germany where every other person was either a police agent or informer.
It would be possible to construct computer-based, automated monitoring to zero in on persons of possible interest based on their posted screeds. However that gets blown away with only one word: NSA. Despite the likely benefits, the American people would be (figuratively) up in arms against any pervasive Big Brother intrusion into their facebooks, tweets, etc.
