Tim Torkildson had been working as a social media specialist of Provo's Nomen Global Language Center for about three months when he updated the school's blog with a post about homophones, which are words that sound same but are spelled differently and have different meanings, such as "peace" and "piece."
Torkildson thought it would be a good topic for the private school, which teaches English to non-native speakers.
But "homophone" apparently sounded a little too much like "homosexual."

Go up to Canada (if you're not already there), and you'll see "Homo Milk" for sale. The first time I saw that, there was an evil urge which tried to get me to go up to the staff and ask where the milk was for the straight customers.
