Seconded!JamesVincent wrote:Awesome sauce.

Not what most on here are used to but one of my favorite bands. There's a story behind it that I'll tell you later, when this was in the series.

The story from the series was, while traveling through Norway, the lead singer of Dethklok found an old book of Norway myths at an antique store and decided to write a song using one of the myths, not knowing it was actually a spell to awaken a demon. When they played the song in concert, in Norway, they awakened the demon, much like Fmotlgroupie's cartoon.

I remember that episode. Didn't they have to use "Folk Music" to send it back to whatever it was before?
Also "not what most are used to" I'll have you know an old family friend is a drummer in a very well known and very loud heavy metal band.

Yeah, they had to use traditional instruments to return it to sleep IIRC. Lol, sorry, the few times we get into discussions about music on here it is usually not deathmetal being mentioned. I wish I had seen Dethklock when they were touring with Paramour, then again I really wanted to see Rammstein when they played in Baltimore a few years ago. Alas, the budget of a single father usually does not include such indulgences. I'll just have to sit back and dream about all the times I saw Metallica and others back in the day.PeanutGallery wrote:I remember that episode. Rammstein, now that reminds me of a party I was at a few years back. It was at the Sonisphere festival, friends band was playing so we got some nice tickets and vip access. Rammstein spent £10k on Vodka and Alice Cooper hired some performing dwarfs. Also Iron Maiden flew in a chef from Florida to cook BBQ, which was pretty good BBQ.
It was a strange weekend. Loud as well.
