Then of course there is the poor cancer suffering mild mannered Tom Crawford who was being turned over by Bradford and Bingley, where it turns out he had been lying to his supporters and the world from day one. And as you say. WeRe bank. And the lies proclaiming a Crawford "win".

I wouldn't be so sure that they were renouncing GOODF, however it would seem that the promotion of WeRe and the Crawford saga has served to establish that a lot of members are being used and abused by a minority on that site who aren't actually interested in helping them deal with debt or resolve their problems but in using them as sacrificial martyrs in their imaginary war against big banking and big business.

They've rallied around Peters bank because it promises an ideology of not being a "big bank" and not "doing banking fraud", when in truth it's doing a completely different type of fraud and it's not even a real bank. They think that Peter's bank will bring the machine of banking down. It won't. Real banking and the majority of people will just ignore it. The only people who will suffer because of Peter's bank are its supporters, customers and patrons.

What they don't realise is that the 'war' exists only in the heads of one side, the opposition doesn't even recognise them as an adversary and frankly they are unable to do anything to make them recognise them as an adversary they are that insignificant.

**BIRMINGHAM MEETING CANCELLED**. I am pleased to advise that the meeting the All Saints Centre in Kings Heath Birmingham has been cancelled. It was booked as a" educational meeting for those in financial difficulty. The Diocese was contacted and advised that this was in fact for Were Bank (although not booked in Peters name etc). They were advised of the criminal investigation in to this matter and did they think it was right that their premises were used to fleece people. The Diocese was given details of the criminal investigation and the investigating officer to confirm all of the above. They also spoke to a fraud officer in a certain council. After reviewing all of the available information they decided they did not want this kind of event happening on their property as they did not want to be a party to a scam.

When I first read it, I didn't take it seriously but it looks like it might be real after all

Bertie and Peter are treating people as complete idiots. Several days after it was revealed that the meeting in Birmingham had been cancelled because "The Diocese was given details of the criminal investigation and the investigating officer to confirm all of the above. They also spoke to a fraud officer in a certain council. After reviewing all of the available information they decided they did not want this kind of event happening on their property as they did not want to be a party to a scam."
