The thought just occurred to me - what if this seminar is intended to count as a form of self-imposed "Community Service" hours?

I've only been in trouble with the law once, and at the time Duty Counsel advised me that doing self-imposed Community Service is taken into consideration at sentencing.

Is this a possibility?

Sure, it's easy to be facebook silent while plotting to go all Xenu on a bunch of nascent thetans but Dean has paying customers to think about here. Earthsc dot com was Dean's anti troll refuge from social media sites he didn't have absolute control over, he had a new webmaster (one he hadn't pissed off yet) and a foolproof way of screening potential members (they had to be willing to give him money). 24 hours or so isn't very long, perhaps this is just something like labor pains in the birth of a new something or another. But the very soon to be Dean:of the House of Correction better keep a mind to providing the services his subscribers are paying for, what ever the hell those might be.

It might be different in Canada but here you only get credit for community service if you work somewhere that's recognized. People usually go to the same handful of organizations to do time, children's hospital, veterans hospital, red cross, stuff like that.

It would not be recognized as volunteer work. It's not like a food bank or any other recognized charity. Plus it isn't free.

And it would have little to no impact due to the severity of the offense and complete lack of remorse and disrespect to the proceeding.

Thanks for the clarification. It just seems odd to me that the last time we heard from Dean, he was pissed off because the Judge called him into court and told him that he MUST comply with the probation officer - and then he goes completely silent right after that.

Hell, Dean hasn't even publicly reacted to the fact that his Youtube channel has been terminated. Something or someone has got to him. This is totally out of character for him.

Exactly the thought I had. Maybe, just maybe, the defiant Dean has realized tht he's screwing himself by not cooperating and he scrabbling to find something, anything, that might help mitigate the hammer blow he's about to get hit with. Sorry Dean, Not after your "Fuck You Judge" video.

I just don't get it - 3 weeks before being sent to prison, rather than getting his affairs in order, Dean is hosting this?

During Dean's 2013 brush with the law he told the faithful he had dismissed the charges against him and that he was ready to carry on with his businesses. Believing his own woo Dean failed to show up for an August 2013 hearing and was subsequently arrested.

I suspect this time through Dean will practice the same sort of self delusion and client deception. I don't see any indication that members of the Earth Stewardship Cooperative or attendees of the Pregnancy & Birthing Seminar are being given the information as to how, or if, the efforts will work after Dean gets sent to the big house.

If Dean holds true to form he'll act like he doesn't need to report for sentencing and attempt to go right on with his businesses.

These things confuse me. Why is Trudeau running for prime minister if he already owns Canada through his ownership of Canada Corp? Dean must have a far deeper understanding of these things than I do.
