First off I think they have a tiny part of a point, in as much that I believe some studies have linked highly successful people with degrees of psychopathy and this is likely replicated in the upper echelons of the political sphere, however the problem is that they are taking this notion and making a blanket application, in that they are saying that because some politicians have shown what they consider to be psychopathic leanings all politicians must be psychopaths.

Psychopathy is generally considered to be a lack of empathy (note that statement is likely dumbing it down way too much but I suppose it's good enough for a lay general opinion like mine) now while it is arguable that some politicians do indeed exhibit this trait, others do seem to operate with a great deal of empathy (some would argue far too much, however this is a point that steers us towards the banned topics).

That is not the case. Secondly they ask what a psychopath looks like, that is an impossible question to answer, because nobody actually knows. Attempts have been made to link mental health conditions to certain physical traits, such as the debunked 'science' of phrenology (which almost cost Darwin his place in science as the founder of evolution, as he was deemed by the captain of the Beagle to have a 'lazy nose').

To simply ask what a psychopath looks like is a question borne of ignorance as a psychopath is defined not by their looks but rather by their acts. After all some of the most dangerous psychopaths, those who have operated as serial killers, have done so by making themselves appear sexually desirable to their victims, others have been physically incapable of doing this and have resorted to other means of finding their prey.

So a psychopath doesn't have a specific look because it is not a condition that is defined in such a manner, it is how a person acts or would act in certain circumstances that would make them a psychopath.

Not it's not. They turned a left turn. If you did that at the bottom of Fearn Chase you'd hit a dead end after about 200 metres plus you can't see number 3 from the junction they turned at. I see what you were thinking though.

Yes, it was a ridiculous question, backed up by ridiculous statements.

It's another example of a freemen overestimating his own intelligence, and trying to dupe people accordingly.

The fact that he even believes phrenology, and other related pseudo-sciences are taught to psychology students shows a complete lack of knowledge on the subject.

I think it provides another example of an idiot self-teaching themselves from crappy websites and YouTube videos, without any due diligence on the information their ingesting.

Whenever I see any of these sack and crack videos I can't help but think that Haining looks like a ventriloquists dummy - it's the way his eyes move (amongst other things) particularly so in the link to the video above.

I've had a brief look to see which particular dummy he reminds me of and the following is the closest but not quite the one that I have a distant memory of.
